I remember I sent out Lyn and Guy to tag team his ass while they were enhanced with Nini’s Grace to beef up their defense for a turn, and I had a Sage (Nino) to take out the Sniper on the left. If Guy didn’t kill Uhai with 2 criticals, Lyn finished the job. The other Sniper is a piece of cake after you kill Uhai and the one on the left.
Use Canas with Luna and Athos to finish him off and use a high defensive unit to counter the snipers.
RetroKid and crazy104: …Great, now I can get that fucker without losing members. I have some generals with high defense but my Marcus is at lv 20 so he should be able to damage Uhai big time with the killing tools ( killing edge, lance, etc. They offer high overkill status )
…I have lunas with luna ( ignores resistance ), along with lord pent and athos ( my nino is not trained, she’ll get creamed if attacked ) They should be able take down Uhai and the snipers ( and if needed, I’ll add Erk )…
…My goal is to beat this chapter without losing any characters so I can get a high rating at the end…
…I need some tips on how to beat the black fang brothers on this chapter too…
I used Oswin to take them out. He should be fine with his high defense.
…Did you defeat Kenneth and company first? Kenneth doesn’t actually move unless you get really near him, but the sage near him has bolting! It hits from a distance…
…The druid near kenneth has Genspenst. It is very powerful, and can trash oswin and his armor…
…The black fang brothers are the last ones to come out but they come out near kenneth and the others…
Yeah, I killed Kenneth and the guys in the room with him first. I think I used a Sage (Nino) to kill Kenneth, and Canas to kill the Sage next to him.
You get nino late in the game though, how is it possible to have her stats raised so high to take on people like kenneth? Arena training? I used Pent and Marcus, but what’s the secret behind nino?
Nino’s not that hard to level up. A good chapter to level her is the one where you fight Sonia. I surrounded her with unequipped (so they won’t counter-attack) high-defense units like Oswin, and let her get all the kills. She levels so fast that she’ll be a level 12-15 Mage by the time the chapter ends. Another good chapter for leveling her is the one before you fight Nergal. I forget the title, but it’s the one on the huge map and there’s like, 80,000 enemies to beat. I think you fight Limstella in that one. Anyway, as long as she gets the last shot in on an enemy, she’ll level quickly. She’s worth the trouble, too. She’s better than Pent and Erk.
And she’s also a good person to use the Afa’s Drops on.
…Victory or Death was the chapter where you had to fight Limstella. Isn’t that chapter where there were like 1,000 archers and snipers that could jump in those things that could hit you from a distance? The chapter also includes more magic users that can hit you from far away…
The CPU is smart enough to pick off smaller characters that don’t really have defense. In other words, did you hide nino in the grass or bushes so she could avoid those long range attacks?..
What I remember from that chapter is there’s a wave of Armor Knights and Generals that attack your starting position with in the first few turns, and the ‘hide Nino’ method works wonders there. I’m pretty sure that where you start off is far away from the ballistas, so they can’t get you. If anything, I know for sure that there’s a shitload of Heroes that come down from the left side, and that you can hide her behind Hector, Oswin, and whoever else has high defense.
Right now im playing Legend of Dragoon, and by the time I beat it hopefully i’ll have enough money to buy a used copy of Suikoden II
I haven’t played it but Killer 7 did get an 8.3 at GameSpot if that helps any.
Bomberman DS-I’m sooo not used to killing more than 3 scrubs in a Bomberman game. It’s fun but I have to be on the alert for more bombs, more traps, etc. And the game has a tendency to give me crappy power-downs (fire down, speed down, etc.) I wish I could turn that junk off. Anyone else sitll playing Bomberman DS?
Sorry Reggie, but mostly Meteos and more DMC3 here. I also got out Jungle Beat yesterday and played a few Kingdoms over again. Damn that game is awesome.
Got a brand new laptop last night predominantly for school, but will still leak a few games in.
Put PC Guilty Gear XX #Reload on my laptop, and it plays like a charm compared to the desktop. Only problem is, when playing Faust, there’s a little degree of De-sync when you do gatling combos with him.
I wouldn’t use Nino, her cons outweigh her pro’s
After playing a through a certain part in Killer 7, i can say now that this is by far the most Sadistic, demented, and evilest game i’ve ever played. This game deserves attention! If any of you are going to get it. You’re in for a hell of a ride.
…Yeah, I did the same thing but I didn’t want to jeopardize nino because I remember some wyvern riders jumped out of nowhere and I had to deal with them. Thing is, they also pick off characters with weak defense so I had hector take care of them. Hector and his axe can handle the riders since they love to use lances and axes best them. Oh and Marcus is good to use too…
crazy104: …Yeah, she just doesn’t have the defense late in the game to stand up against other units and such. I try to train her as much as I can though since I think it would raise the EXP rating at the end of the game…
Speaking of rating, here’s mine for my tactican: Ruin
Lyn’s Tale
Tactics:*
Survival:*****
Funds:*****
EXP:*****
Combat:*****
“B” Rating
Eliwood’s Tale
Tactics:*
Survival:****
Funds:**
EXP:*****
Combat:*****
“C” Rating
Wondering how do you suppose to get the tactics rating up…
Tactics is how many turns you take to finish the chapter, so the less the amount of turns you take per chapter the higher the rating.
…Gotcha. I take so many safety precautions, so that’s why that rating is so low. But survival is more important because I really don’t want my characters dying all over the place lol…
…I try to uncover the secret shops as well, but I don’t know where to look. I heard they sell powerful weapons…
well currently been playing typing of the dead or atleast just barely began playing about 30 minutes ago. Enjoying it so far, but the only sad thing is i have to press alt+f4 to exit the game since i guess the pc port doesnt have an exit option. Good fun so far, except that horrid voice acting is in there.
