I wonder if shit like this happens because we twitter about it, and it feeds into their 'World Clusterfucking Machine", or something like that? Like the word from this list that is most twittered that week happens? o_O
Tiny Tim is hot water (no surprise here)

Oh Shep, that “kidding” was so eloquently placed
Wealth does not ‘trickle down’, it Ponzies up.
In the strange world of the Republican then yes. I would love some Republican kool aid. the Hallucinations and wrapping of reality must be on a whole different level.
Can anybody (any of you) take Libertarians seriously? If it wasn’t for government we wouldn’t have many of the advancements in technology that we have today, we wouldn’t’ have public roads, etc.
What was the catalyst that allowed this movement to take off, and what gave it the ability to expand into this growing movement that it is today. What fuels this movement today?
Government can either be a coercive, stratified, centralized authority, or it can be a cooperative tool. The former tends to be larger than the latter.
In my observation, libertarians simplify this as “the less government, the better”, which doesn’t quite capture the point.
The catalyst was interpretations of enlightened scholars with the Classical Liberalism school of philosophy.
The rich ass-raping the world. Simple as that. (But it could be that the internet likes him because he’d legalize weed.)
FUCK I HATE YOUR FUCKING COUNTRY
So now the Department of Homeland Security has the right to go shutdown websites in other countries? When exactly did the internet become American, again?
Keep your filthy money grubbing hands in your own country.
Never.

It’s for your own good, dude. FOR FREEDOM! FOR LIBERTY!
etc…
If you are honestly looking to understand the point of view, whether to better educate yourself as to what you are arguing against or for whatever other reasons, this blog post has a simplified rundown of the idea:
It’s our country now.
And by ours, I mean theirs.
The middle class getting taxed to death to fund welfare programs and civil servant pensions.
thank you, as usual, your response is the most enlightning one.
This is a gross oversimplification, and to some degree, an extreme exaggeration. It has its points though.
Sure, government didn’t have to build the roads, A private company could have built them, but the private company would charge us a ridiculous amount of money to use them, and then the question begs who gets to use them who doesn’t? After all, money doesn’t always get you what you want. (In this example one thing is certain while the other is not)
I understand the point to some degree, but it always seems flawed. Maybe its my cynicism. Do you have a more engaging document?
Government irresponsibility.
Welfare and civil servant pensions, eh?
Who wants to place bets on how big those two slices of the pie chart really are?
That post in GD was awesome. Wall Street fucks are getting pissy because they’re no longer filthy rich, just moderately rich. Whining because they can’t afford to send three daughters to private school. Ohhhhh boo fucking hoo.
I dont think the rich even know what the rest of us do, anymore
Slim to fucking bupkas?
Have they ever? LOL

I’m not sure how legit these are, but I’ll throw them out there to make a point. Government spending has gone way beyond what is necessary to run a country imo. Having no government is unreasonable, but I can understand reaction given how much people pay in taxes while not seeing a direct benefit.
I smell cooked books.
