The US is the last bastion of hope, and is the only thing that is preventing satan from taking over the world. That its our job as Americans to go and destroy these threats no matter the cost. Muslims are bad, and should be locked away, and has no place in modern civilization.

That right there, is the type of people all of you should be afraid. Those type of individuals that cater to this shit, or preach this shit, or listen to and believe this shit, are the people you should worry about.

There is a very important distinction you arent acknowledging
The contrast in philosophy behind civil liberty vs that of national socialism
Your argument only makes sense regarding concerns of the intensification of power in the central govt
Hitler turned germany from almost 3rd world status into the world power almost overnight (along the way gaining immense support from the citizenry) by way of a very powerful central govt which, as you note, involved a rigidified, centrally planned economy with deliberate ‘social justice’ programs with which intended to uplift the aryan race exclusive to all others. ecuase of a number of factors, the jews were widely seen as contributing to the economic conditions in Germany at those times, so such a racist, big govt platform as Hitler’s was popular i guess.
In contrast, conservative libertarians want a small central govt which only service is making sure the constitution is upheld being otherwise nonexistant.
Assuming you buy into such a philosophy purely and there exists a govt set up accordingly, the govt itself is a safeguard against the election of the most dispicable, racist, corrupt, duplicitous, evil leader who could invoke such a campaign as Hitler (or even Bush, or Obama, whatever, etc…) without breaking rules established by the philosophy/govt.

So what I am saying is that assuming you buy Ron Paul’s sincerity (which he has cultivated consistently for decades) regarding libertarianism, it wouldnt be logical to worry about his personal views. Because enacting any centralized programs based on any personal agenda that enable discrimination would contradict his philosophy and be in stark contrast to the consistency his past actions.

A lot of people in high positions of power are racist. Ron Paul just had the covers pulled off him because he’s a presidential candidate. A lot of people in general are racist. There are racist people on SRK. Racism is here to stay.

And no one is saying they want a racist president, but if him being racist is his biggest drawback, I’ll take him over all these war-mongering two-faced, shills who are basically bending over for the corporatocracy. I’d rather he not be racist but sometimes you have to pick the lesser of two evils. The NDAA act Obama signed, and the Patriot Act is a step in the direction towards facism, which is one of the things Hitler was known for.

As an aside Mitt Romney has held a high position in the Mormon church for the last few decades. A church whose doctrine that, up until fairly recently preached that blacks were a cursed people.

Write congressmen, join a movement (there’s a shit ton), do something. Checking a voting box won’t do shit, (except if you vote Republican cuz that’s a guaranteed war with Iran.) Seriously. If everyone who claims to be SOOO anti-war would get out there and join an anti-war movement/organization this wouldn’t be an issue. The candidates would know what their constituents want, and if that don’t work the grassroots actions will.

Seriously if you have all your hopes riding on one man, assuming he even follows through with what he said he was going to do (looks at Obama how powerless he was to make the changes he campaigned on with a divided Congress). What makes you think Ron Paul can do it?

And besides that, his anti-war foreign relations policy will come attached with a Libertarian starter deck of legislation (once again assuming he has the power to make any changes with a Congress who is against him.) This would include:

Cutting off corporate welfare (Cutting off corporations from suckling the power tit)

Creating a “Dog eat dog” capitalist state where there are fewer regulations and giving that power to the States to decide it (DID YOU SEE HOW MANY STATES LINED UP TO STILL QUESTION OBAMA’S ELIGIBILITY for presidency??? A bunch of southern states too. Sure lets let them decide how much environmental regulations they need, and whether or not they need to be a part of a union that disavowed slavery…)

Ending the fed

Getting rid of social safety nets that some people depend on. (People already without houses, and now cutting back in an effort to eliminate programs that help people afford their homes.)

1st one:
In my boys house (I dont think mormon;s even have churches) the couple was both retarded actually
The ‘here comes the bride’ song was played on huge speakers and had banging subwoofers come in after the first few parts there. Some old people did a double take and objected, but whatever. They gave the bride and groom plastic silverware because they were crazy. During the recpetion, the groom would not let the bride off his lap. hahaa, She was like 3ft tall too (not a midget).
2nd one:
My boys wedding, we had some friends perform as the music (187 recordings). Superthug, all the visiting families left pretty immediately (my parents were pretty uncomfortable), madd children were crying. My boy’s wive’s fam (not mormon) seemed madd racist. They werew trying to start something, before leaving. The poeple working at the reception said they never seen a wedding like that. Actually, the manager seemed to be siding with the wives fam. I got some dope footage.

Maybe its just were I live is a little off (Schenectady, NY), but that is my impression.
I always thought Mormonism was just like that 5 percenter thugged out religion stuff anyways, sounds just like it, so I always figured they were related
To be honest, I though Mormanism sounded pretty cool. I always thought if I was going to start a religion, it would be similar to some Mormon stuff. Definitely on some supreme mathematics ish.

Nope. Actually I’m not 100 percent that Ron Paul is truly a racist or just painted that way by the media/super pacs. I honestly have not looked deep into it and I’d rather have all the facts before I label someone a racist which is ridiculously easy to do nowadays.

The original point I was trying to make with my “theory fighter” scenario is what could happen if people dismiss a candidate’s openly racist philosophy in exchange for a promise of a better tomorrow.
Of course there are racists in positions of power, particularly in politics, but they give the voters a facade to the contrary because as you said, no one wants to elect a racist leader and the only thing preventing these “closet racists” from openly pushing their agendas is that the American People wouldn’t stand for it.

However, in this scenario an admitted racist president has just been elected by the aforementioned American because they view him as the “lesser of two evils”.
Why stop there? Why would it stop there? Why not elect or support other similar-minded politicians as long as they promise to change America for the better.
“Sure, former Clansman Jimmy Bo Hatfield believes immigrants are to blame for the state of our economy which is kinda uncool, but he also believes in lowering taxes and less government. I’ll vote for him!”

Even if they do all the things they promised once elected, do you think that’s going to apply to ALL Americans? Who is going to stop them from implementing legislation targeting certain groups? The American people? The same American people who voted them into power? Nope, a vast majority will just sit and watch as the NDAA is exercised to its fullest extent and hauls the “undesirables” away. A small price to pay for “civil liberty”

So now you have a socially intolerant country ruled by hate mongers, but I supposed it’s better than the alternative.

I understand the whole tiresome excuse of the “lesser of two evils” excuse, but in my opinion, some compromises just shouldn’t be made.

Watch this if you feel like learning about capitalism the economics behind the financial crisis of 2008. It also starts off with an explanation of the evolution of different modes of capitalism. It’s pretty darn good. A lot of the same information as “Inside Job”, but I like how he ties it together at the end.

It ain’t Government, it ain’t Wall Street. It’s class warfare. It’s one group of people in control of both institutions that are benefiting at the loss of others. A group which I can say pretty safely that everyone on this forum, and majority of the people of the US fall into.
