From a fanboy of the original series, I’m pretty happy with the game overall. My biggest gripe is that player models sometimes blend in way too well with the background, and its often hard to distinguish CT and T models. I feel like I’m forced to stare at the radar more in this respect, which IMO shouldn’t be so
Experienced this a couple of times. Office seems to be the biggest offender with both teams wearing dark uniforms.
On a different note, I hope they bring out alot of the older maps for this. We used to have cs_assault on rotation on our local server back in '01. Also cs_mansion, as in the original, not cs_estate.
A map developer confirmed bringing a couple maps back around september ish, the only one I remember him listing was de_tuscan

Rumor has it there’s supposed to be a patch next week for matchmaking according to my CS obsessed buddies…we had 5 last night so it dumped us into our own room and randoms joined, but anything less than 5 it hangs in the search forever.
Which map is the one with the factory that has about a million air ducts for CT’s to crawl through? I want that map back. I also agree that something needs to be done about long range team distinction. I shot one of my friends in the face in tunnel on Dust 2 about 3 time until I recognized that he was yelling “SAME TEAM!!! SAME TEAM!!”. How faded those team arrows are doesn’t help for shit

There was an elevated raiload track right in front of CT spawn if that helps. It was also a hostage map, all the hostages were crammed into a really small room next to another room that overlooked the warehouse floor. Actually if you had a boxed copy of source like I did, on the back of the case you could see a small portion of the map behind the CT with the shotgun.

I fucking loved that map. Something about the amount of entry points to the hostage building made it really challenging. Plus I just love how it was designed,

I’ve been playing GO for about 2 weeks and I prefer CS:Source. AK47 owned in source, in GO the damage is nerfed and the recoil is random
Nah, even if someone working within Valve doesn’t do it (which won’t happen, it was one of the most played maps in the game), someone else will port it over
Lolwut, AK recoil is similar to how it was in 1.6
Besides AK was never much of a spray gun, it’s supposed to be used in bursts. The only time to spray is if you’re in close-medium range, and you just pull the crosshair down more than you would for other guns
The SG 553 is the new AK47. My friend was complaining the AK didn’t feel the same in this, tried the SG instead and was doing his crazy jumping headshot shit within minutes. Just like old times:tup: Still really fun with a team going. It’s virtue is it’s simplicity…no predator drones every five seconds
Hmm, I’ve have to try to SG. I miss my old AK though, I could take out awps in a sniping battle.

Mp7 is pretty damn amazing if I say so myself. Though I miss the mp5
