Does anyone have experience making peanut butter cookies using all-natural peanut butter? Is it worth doing?

Making some ribs today, rubbed them up last night and they’re in the smoker right now. Using the 3-2-1 method, we’ll see how it goes:

I also made my chocolate pie again for my friend birthday yesterday.

Ribs came out well

After 3 hours of smoke, ready to be wrapped with some honey, apple juice, and a few dabs of butter.

after 2 hours wrapped in foil, super tender. added a bit more rub before putting them back on to let the bark set again

All done, I decided to brush on some sauce and let it sit for 10 more minutes for the family since they love sauce. It was my own concoction, since I’ve started making sauces I’ve taken quite a liking to the apple-cider vinegar based sauces. This one had ketchup, apple cider vinegar, some of my spice rub, a can of root beer, honey, worcestershire sauce, and some other goodies. It has a nice bite, yet a little sweet.

side view:

That looks absolutely appetizing. A friend of mine made a mixture of the exact same topping, and I’ve been meaning to get the recipe from him (or at least attempt to make it myself).

I decided to make popcorn chicken again (if I can call it that). I personally don’t like the way it looks, but I’ve been told I seasoned it very well this time. Maybe it’s because I went overboard with the Panko coating.

Recipes for ground lamb, anyone? Was tempted to buy some this week of I can find something worthwhile. Never had lamb ground before.

I’m too hungry to be in this thread, but we’ll see what I have for dinner tonight.

Thought I’d share my tips for reheating excess rice from a rice cooker. I have two ways to store rice after I’m done, in the freezer and in the fridge.

Freezer method: Best method
-After your done eating, put the desired amount of rice in sandwich bags (make sure you get the air out of the bag) and stick them in the freezer
-When you want to eat rice again, take one of the bags out of the freezer and stick it in the microwave for about two minutes
-The rice will steam inside the bag and taste just as fresh as when you cooked it before.

Fridge method: Not nearly as good, but the best alternative I’ve found out so far
-After your done eating rice, stick it all in a plastic container
-Next time you want to eat, put the rice in a bowl and add hot water from a kettle
-Let the rice sit for a little bit and then drain the excess water.

Anybody else have tips of how they reheat rice?

P.S. I’m gonna cook some kimchi soup sometime this week and post it up here.

^^ uuuh… I’ve always used a simple method. Put in fridge-> next day, add some water for the dipole molecules to oscillate -> microwave -> eat, enjoy

smoked some chicken leg quarters recently

Also made some brownies today. Chewy, dense, and chocolatey. The way I like them

if you sprinkle water on pizza before you nuke it, it’s a hell of a lot better reheated. Although pizza can just be eaten cold, or thrown in a toaster over for A++++ good times.

What is handsdown the best dish you ever cooked?

Mediterranean Chicken dish with noodles

That Paella sized wok

It’s small and simple but I’ve attempted fried apples the other day. They didn’t turn out as “syrupy” as they should have been in the video I’ve gotten the recipe from, but they turned out alright. I made them again today but this time there was a bit of tartness in it. I supposed it’s because this time I actually used brown sugar (which is part of the recipe), and lately I’ve forgotten to add lemon juice whenever I do make it, so the “complete taste” must be the aforementioned tartness.

EDIT: Tried to get the URL from my Instagram to link here, but it won’t work. :bluu:
2nd EDIT: Well, shit. :bluu:

Marinated Rib-Eye Steak
Black Truffle & Smoked Gouda Mac-N-Cheese
Roasted Seasoned Asparagus

  • :bluu:

EDIT - Number 2 would be my super slow pan-fried chicken breast with roasted red peppers and pepperjack cheese. Not complex at ALL, but from a “this bite is an orgasm in my mouth” stand-point it’s number 2. It was made better by it being impromptu.

Here is that Korean Chicken Wing you told me about in that one thread. Got the wife to hook me up. It was good, i added a little Sweet Chili Sauce & man its DYNOOOOMITE!
