Nah you cant cancle EX upper if you could well damn. Yeah after alot of practice you can see f+mk and then qcf,qcf + piano super on reaction. I can see it (and here it) so easy now, but it took me alot of practice.

I’ll keep practicing the execution that way than.
fierce upper has no invincibility and is throwable, do not use as a wakeup under any circumstances.
Does EX Short Swing Blow have invincibility?
You cant throw a reversal fierce upper on wakeup.
maybe your opponent is using shitty wake-up options?

Upper still not a good move has no invincibility. Ex on the other hand.
EX upper from what I know is the only upper that works on wakeup.
nah just dont ever use it outside of combos, you will notice japanese dudleys never use this move, the reason why is because it sucks and gets stuffed by everything.
i do understand how bad dudley’s normal uppercuts are and if my opponent is on top of his or her game I wouldn’t think to use it outside of combos or maybe to like knock people out of their divekick games. and on that latter bit I’d probably still prefer EX upper for fear that a normal upper would get stuffed. If my opponent isn’t going to force me to use EX upper than I’ll save the meter for something else.
nah u can do a million safer things against dive kick pressure…don’t even bother with using it ever, seriously. and also dont get into the habit of “doing stuff that works till they stop it” just do stuff that works, it makes you a better player. if you get in the habit of doing stuff that doesn’t really work because it’s effective on low level players you wont be able to beat anyone good when the time comes.
epsilon is correct, if you’re uppercutting people out of divekicks they need to learn how to do divekicks correctly.
Any tips on connecting overhead HK into Super? I’ve tried and tried, and been able to pull it off maybe once. I can pull off his other links into super no problem.
Edit: I know the opponent has to be crouching, but even then I can rarely connect it. BTW I think EX Shortswing Blow is good on wakeup, don’t quote me on that though.
maybe just slow your super motion down a little. Thats my biggest problem right now. It’d be helpful to know what exactly is happening when you try to execute, even if its f+rh nothing. how are you practicing? just normal auto-guard or random guard? if its normal auto-guard, my opinion is skip it for overhead super and go right to random guard crouching opponent.
ex ssb is pretty awesome, really all the ssbs are pretty awesome to me.
The timing is pretty strict(only two frames available to link a one-frame super), so I’d recommend drumming the punch buttons for an easier time, if you have a stick.
And EX SSB is good on wakeup for the most part, but certain moves that reach far enough can hit Dudley coming in after the back dash. I’m not sure of the properties of its startup, but at the very least it can beat throw attempts.

its not a hit confirm. aiku does it because people move after blocked f+mk. and he does it into jab super to maintain some safety, if you notice in some other matches it gets blocked…it;s a guess. you can’t hit confirm c.lk
