Is there any good reason to use close mk into ex chop over close mp into ex chop?
I generally use the mp for convenience. Does the close mk hit lower and connect with short arses like chun, oro, elena etc?
Don’t quote me on this, but I remember someone saying s.forward did more damage as opposed to s.strong doing more stun/being faster.
On top of that, s.strong whiffs on crouching Chun. Probably others, too. I honestly don’t remember.
Yeah it whiffs on a bunch of crouchers.
I’m bored so I took out the Dreamcast and went into training mode to see when s. strong hits and whiffs on crouching opponents

Supposedly, some cr.jab/cr.short chains can be done as links. Ppl point out that I often link the cr.shorts with Dudley, but it’s not on purpose :looney:
Never heard about the stun aspect, but close st.forward does slightly more damage. DAMN…I had no idea st.strong whiffed on so many characters. That’s too damn situational 
I guess it’s usually obvious when the st.forward is in range to connect, instead of the wrong normal.
Sneddon would sometimes wake-up with s.strong into EX Flash.

Here’s a good question to fellow Alex Specialists: Is there any reason to use LP Powerbomb over Kara-throw?
Kara-Throw advantages: Amazing reach, tick throw opportunities, does roughly the same damage as LP Powerbomb, and puts Alex in a better position after doing it. It’s disadvantages is that it can be teched (der) and sometimes you get tHP or just regular throw instead.
LP Powerbomb: Advantage is that it can’t be teched and can be good for mindfucking. That’s about it. The range is roughly the same as Kara-throw. The damage is about the same. Worst of all after using Powerbomb it pushes Alex to midscreen distance and loses to throws.
