Mostly from the houston ranbats, regionals, texas showdown. The only other times I do Hyperbomb is when they do parry the flash chop and to punish anything if the opponent is close enough.
Flash chops has a similar evade like st.roundhouse does but not as big of an evade like st.roundhouse. It evades mainly at the startup and I’ve only hit with it twice against opponents who were going to throw me so I guess it ain’t so bad to use against throws but I prefer to use st.roundhouse against throws since it evades better.
LOL. It’s like someone new is always asking about this. You can do it on anyone. One problem…it’s a useless combo. You have 1 frame to link into super and only works at super close range. Getting f+HP to connect at super close range to begin with is difficult on most characters and then 1 framing it into Hyper Bomb is even more stupid. Basically…it’s not worth doing.
Yet…if you do want to try it out just hit the opponent with f+HP at the closest possible range and the instant you recover from the f+HP buffer into SA1. I can’t remember if this is anywhere on the screen or corner only but if you do it right it should work.
Man all the good alex’s took all the good colors. Now im stuck with default or GoldenBoy color =[. BTW if u land a powerbomb on characters that get up quickly how should u lead up, I usually dash dash x s.close mk or jab tic into powerbomb but then they either insta-grab or press forward to parry.
Yeah…headbutt grabs all characters regardless of standing or crouching position. Dash up s.HP on wake us is not bad once in a blue moon. Dash up EX flash is also good once in a while since they are forced to parry 2 hits and will more than likely eat the second hit or be forced to block it. If you’re good at charge partitioning you can use close s.MK partitioned into stomp. If they try to parry you jump out of the parry and can stomp on their head. This should also be used sparingly due to the fact that if they guess parry the stomp you get owned. If used sparingly it should catch them off guard and they’ll more than likely get hit.
I think I have a decent Alex game going on, only been playing him for a couple of months, but I need some advice against like Chun Li, Ken, and Ibuki players.
Maybe not so much Ken, but Chun Li and Ibuki are a pain. Any suggestions?
