lol we’ll see. The varsity actually might be too big for me now because I lost a lot of weight in the past half year. I’ve been trying really hard to gain lean mass, so maybe that will fill the lost gap by the fall? Also… I kind of have a feeling OF will be forgotten by the mainstream in couple of months.

Trying to decide which shoes to take with me… I know I’m already gonna take my Dunkman LeBron 8 PS, dress shoes (for when I go to Texas de Brazil and in case I end up going out too) and Trainer 1.2 for working out so I’m probably gonna be forced to stick with just one more pair. And I don’t really feel like walking through airports in Dunkman lol.

I figured I ask here first after looking around for other topics, but is anyone currently into raw denim right now? I’m trying to break into a pair of Comune Domestic Ricky Hybrids but I’m not exactly sure if it’s even raw in the first place. I guess for the next set, I’ll try some Comune Davids in indigo and Cheap Monday’s in black if it turns out the pair I’m wearing isn’t exactly raw.
Idk anything about raw/salvaged denim. I always play it safe and stick with my Levi’s.
Also, this list is pretty predictable for the top 3 imo. But I would’ve put The Hundreds at #3 or 4 maybe. Or moved up 10 DEEP, Diamond, and Crooks. I like Flying Coffin. And would’ve included Playcloths too.
I stopped wearing raws of any kind except when I wear non-sneakers after getting too many light colored sneakers get messed up.
And yeh, Levi’s 511. I love it too much. Bought 4 different pairs since I last posted. All recent Levi’s jeans with ‘Rigid’ designations are great; make perfect creases and honeycombs on your own.
BAPE is closing its New York store. With the LA one already gone, and now NY… something tells me I will never see one in Chicago as I had hoped for years. 
What? They are really doing that bad since Nigo sold it? Shit. I know Bape got mad people in the game
AFAIK, Nigo sold it because the brand was losing money over the past couple of years.
Even without considering the fact that T.I is a Hong Kong-based firm, it makes complete since to withdraw from the U.S. market where popularity of BAPE has already dwindled and instead invest in China and rest of emerging markets in Asia where BAPE still has strong following.
But still… I was wishing one day I would have a BAPE flagship store in my city.
Can’t say I’m saddened by the news, but it’ll be interesting to see where the brand’s direction goes since Nigo will remain as creative director for two years.
And speaking of brands being diluted by undesirables ODing on them…

You’re not gonna find Yeezys anywhere for any less than $800. Look on flightclub and eBay, but BEWARE OF FAKES (especially on eBay).

I didn’t think I would say this so early, but I’m done being a sneakerhead. With cost of other hobbies that stacked up in recent months plus being in a relationship… I just can’t afford buying multiple sneakers every month anymore. I’m already in the process of selling off most of my deadstock pairs, aside from some prized Jordans and LeBrons.
I’m pretty sure I will still buy a pair here and there to wear, but I’m done in terms of collecting.
