picked up some black on black chuck taylor hi’s for the summer
Got my True Blues on and they look like sneakers. Even clueless clerks wondered why these sold way more quickly than the white cements. I mean, lots of stores had some, but only 1 to 3 of each size. I walked in 3pm to a footlocker, and dude was like he sold out in 20 minutes. So I go next door to a V.I.M. and get the last size 11. Box was kinda fucked up, but we are here for the shoes right? Either way Every store I hit up after sold out to, so I’m keeping this pair. Nike limited this GR immensely.

I was hoping for a remake of the Infamous cover. Except they would have Supreme shirts on. Seems like me & my mans is getting on line for these.
I skipped on True Blue III since it’s exactly the same as the 2009 international release that I already own.
Macy’s is having a big sale on all Levi’s jeans right now. Good amount of 514 and 511 to choose from. And I dunno why, but Levi’s Store never seem to have the stuff I want. Yea, they got bigger inventory and more high-end releases, but Macy’s usually have stuff that I like better (and the two never seem to carry the same things… strange).
I would shop at Levi’s Store more often if they start carrying capsule collections and Levi’s Japan releases, but they don’t so… yea.

So I’m sure that you guys hear about White/Cement IVs confirmed for 1st quarter 2012. Well Check this out: These shit will be more limited than you think. Also Concords is gonna be more stocked than the previous two XI’s released. So that’s somewhat good news.
Lebron Lows will drop Mid July.
Jordan 1 Banned’s is the most ridiculous release ever! I mean I stopped by my local Outlet and say whats good with my former co-workers. And the line was hella long! ROFL! One kid came through with two Grandparents…C’mon son. So anyway I walked right in and people were like WTF and trying to argue with me…I just looked and laughed and walked to the office. The Store Manager and I was discussing some points across releases at Outlets and from what it seems it seems that Nike may start releasing QS’ to Factory Stores. I honestly think its a great idea. Since Factory stores are growing rapidly and making their goals every day. But yea the store here had just over 100 pairs and sold out within the hr of opening. Pretty crazy but not worth it IMO.
Now as far as my shoe collecting goes: Just a bunch of running shoes and a few GRs. Im done with SBs with the exception of the space jam lows and maybe the fall koston releases. But just getting some casual clothing wear now since I have to present myself that way at work now. I did help get Sports Authority buyers to get some Jordans(Team but a good start) and Lebrons’ so soon Maybe SA will start getting Retros again.

I think I’m starting to become less interested in sneakers in general, but especially Jordan retros. I think it’s great that JB have been retroing all the models people have been fiending for years and make them widely available as GR’s, but that’s exactly what’s going to make the sneaker game even more over-saturated. More people wearing the same stuff. And a lot of rappers and kids now seem to think that wearing ANY retro J’s somehow automatically make them the shit.
On a positive note, I think Nike in general has been doing a better job designing new shoes, especially the past year or so.
My next targets are definitely the white/black XI IE Low, grey/pink Air Max 90 Hyperfuse and the LeBron 8 PS Finals PE if it gets a release.
Unrelated, but stupid internet kids bandwagoning on Tyler the Creator and Odd Future is destroying Supreme. I kind of want to don’t to wear Supreme anything anymore.
I am jealous.
