i only care about the boots and the shoes but they do have a very solid collection,had ={
Do you guys buy shoes online? I know a lot of ppl who dont bc they say each company has different sizes (for example, a 12 for nike isnt a 12 for adidas). If you guys buy em, what site has good prices?
I actually only like their pants/jeans, and some blazers. Not a big fan of their boots compared to other designers.
looking for ones like these
If you know your size in that particular brand its not really a problem. It’s been a while since I’ve been collecting kicks, so the only one I can remember right now is pickyourshoes.com
Zappos is pretty chill too.
Ok thanks, ill check these out. Wish this thread was more active
Polo style shirts actually have different cuts. Some look better than others.
However, the expensive ones might not look better than the cheaper ones depending on your build. I buy depending on how well they look on me, not what brand is emblazoned on the front. In fact, I try to avoid branding altogether.
Currently on the hunt for some black dress shoes I can wear close to everyday that don’t look awful for a reasonable price. Shit is way too hard.
what’s your price range on the shoes?
Cole Haan and Hugo Boss would both be reasonable options for everyday casual shoes at non-killer price ($100 ~ $200), although both are kind of played out. I still have couple of pairs of Cole Haan I wear to work.
New pics of AJ III Doernbecher
I might like the new Altitudes better than the OG 2005 ones. Those shiny midsoles are definitely gonna crack after couple of wears, though. Gotta get two pairs.
The China LeBrons are dropping tomorrow, but I think I need to skip. Gonna try to snipe the online re-release of the South Beach next month.
New varsity jacket by Swagger… supah dope, but 700 bones is a bit too much :wasted:
debs gonna get on these?
$150-200 is about right.
Checked out a few Cole Haans, maybe they’re just pricier in Canadaland, but they were going for ~300. If Cole Haan is played out, then what’s in?
hugo boss is for nazis
I also need new shoes… thinking about these
DrJays.com - Men - Shop by Brand - Nike - Footwear - Sneakers - NIKE AIR FLIGHT CLASSIC SNEAKERS
I want Jordans or something but they seem to be pretty dang pricy… $120 is the highest ill go for sneakers but they better be dang good.
eBay is the ultimate goldmine for kicks. There are good amount of fakes out there as well, though, but it’s usually easy to tell apart the vendors selling fakes from the legit ones.
Another option is go to Nike outlet stores (if there are any near where you are). You would be surprised what you find.
Once you get familiar enough with how the game works, you will know where to keep your radars on check.
I live in Chicago with a dozens of kick boutiques, two HoH and a Niketown, so I never really have trouble getting kicks unless they’re regional exclusives, but even then I have to get creative sometimes.
EDIT: SRK has a kicks thread too, btw.
Nazis dressed sharp though except for pulling their pants up to their nipples.
Do you (or anyone) buy USED kicks ever?
Sneakers are like cars. Much like the value of car drops as soon as it’s driven out of the dealer, shoes are worth muuuuch less after you lace them up and take a step out of your door.
But on the flip side, you can get good deals on NDS (near deadstock) and VNDS (very near deadstock) kicks on eBay, shoe forums (e.g. Nike Talk, SB Boards, etc.) and events like DunkXChange. Some cats wear their kicks maybe two or three times, and just sell them off. Also, for some shoes, coming across a used pair is enough of a score sometimes because the DS pair is so rare.
I personally only buy DS most of the time, though. The only shoes I own right now that I didn’t buy DS are the SB Dunk High ‘White Melvins’.
How do you know if a shoe is deadstock or not? Im VERY ignorant when it comes to shoes since im just starting to “get into it.”
Owner will say if they are DS (deadstock) and/or NIB (new in box) if they have not been worn. Sometimes people lie about it, but then their reputation goes down the drain so anybody that wants to be part of the sneaker community won’t do that.
If you buy on eBay, make sure that the owner has fairly high feedback score, provides clear pictures, and that the pictures are tagged (by their handles). You have rights to be suspicious if pictures are dated or fuzzy looking. Also, don’t fall for obvious fakes - If price seems to be too good to be true, the odds are that they are fakes.
The bottom-line is that you can find deals if you look around, but even so, you need to be willing to pay the price. You can’t get good stuff for cheap.
In the end, you will realize that the best way to cop limited kicks are for retail prices when they are released.
Ok thanks, if im really unsure about something ill just post it here and hopefully someone can clarify if its fake or not.
il keep a look out what size tho? there is also a suit on the bay for 100 right now M
