So my next question is how to not get angry when fighting against Ibuki? Since SF4 her stupid guessing games and her annoying ninja girl mannerisms have frustrated me to no end. It’s now 2017 and I still haven’t figured out her shit. I’m on the verge of just giving up and blacklist every Ibuki I come across lmao
Well. Ibuki is annoying indeed. For me it’s not even 50/50s that are aggravating but rather her not real things. Abusable safe comboable overhead, heavy command dash that make her land on the front when it looks like she is going over and command dash spamming in general. All of that is reactable and it shouldn’t work, but sometimes it will and it’s annoying. And the more irritated you get the more you will miss. So the best approach is to not give a f. Adjust to bullshit, interrupt it and you may find that most Ibuki players can’t do anything solid - they just blow up in footsies. If they don’t - you are fucked, but well - losing to a good player is not irritating, at least for me. And if i happen to lose to shit spammer and get tilted - i usually just go on with no rematch.
That actually work for most chars. Many people get hooked on abusing their char’s most powerful option (most times not real). You need to take that away and find what they can do without it. Most times you will find ‘YOU WIN’ message. And Kolin is actually good at that. That’s why i like her.

I don’t actually understand how are chars going to jump above him. And i also think that he may be easily counterable.
From what I’ve seen it is possible to jump over him but he anti-air jabs them

Who made this tier list? It’s very strange to see Laura and Dhalsim in C. I wouldn’t place Kolin and Ed in D either. I don’t know much about Ed thought. But he was considered potential strong character after launch as far as i remember.
Does anyone know if Kolin can mid counter Ibuki’s mini-hadoken? I think it’s her V Skill? Not sure if it’s counted as a projectile.
Yes. It has a projectile hitbox. And as far as I know you can’t counter it. If you want to try to react to it while she is charging you can try LK.Step > P. I usually just block she doesn’t get advantage from it nor does she get vmeter on block. And maybe you can jump it but i think if not timed and spaced correctly you will get antiaired.
That is if you are talkin about her v-skill (looks exactly like Karin’s). If you are talking about Raida (which looks more like a mini hadouken to me) it has strike hitbox and should be parrieble. But i have never tried - people mostly use it as a combo ender. It may be used to get under Hail, because EX goes forward. But countering it is pointless because it is punishable on block. You will either get hit in recovery or you can punish.
I just checked and it’s her V skill, saw an Ibuki charge one up to hit an Akuma and he parried it on reaction so it made me wonder if Kolin could do it too. Guess I’ll just block it then, but the LK.Step is a great idea, might use that if they get spammy with it.
Yeah. Akuma and Ryu can parry projectiles. Kolin can’t. Projectiles may be considered her weakness i guess. Or just Guile.
