Can someone check something for me? I don’t feel like buying her but wanna learn the matchup.
Blockstring: Cr.lk, cr.lk, cr.lp (or st.lp) xx parabellum.
Assuming the second cr.lk hits, does it combo until the end?
If the first cr.lk counterhits, does the combo work?
If the second cr.lk counterhits, does the combo work?
If your opponent blocks everything until the end of the string (including parabellum), is he still in range to punish your lp parabellum?
Just wondering if she may have a Cammy-esque string with a low as the second hit.

whats the input for ex parrying a meaty cross up? i keep getting the reversal text but only a normal is coming out
edit: nvm i just got it by doing it in the pre-crossup direction… gonnna test more

EX Counter has 2f startup, it’s not invincible so it won’t work on meaty attacks
Ex counter is one frame. Should work in all situations if you time it right.

I still like momochis the best.
Honourable mentions are prism nana and poongko. All have different styles.
Momos is confirm heavy. Prizm is setup heavy. Poongko is pressure and blockstring heavy with lots of v skill counter thrown in.

That was a pretty good match. He made a few mistakes, but seems to be picking up quickly
Is Kolin a beginner-friendly character? I use Cammy but want to switch main.
Not really, but she’s a ton of fun and I’m enjoying myself even while I lose.
Not gonna post the video here because I know how you guys feel about Max but even he was overwhelmed by Kolin’s thickness.

Nope. Making use of her tools properly requires a lot of thought and finger-gymnastics - more than I’ve got in me as a casual player. If you’re just doing pokes into combos with her, you might as well go with characters who do that better.
UltraChenTV try her out. Her command backdash / backswingblow has invincibility? I feel like they spent WAY too much time testing EX HHS stuff. They were looking for this, the 2nd video. I didn’t discover the meaty setup, I got hit by it in Casual Match and made a video. Her fireball being a DP input was making James get a ton of unwanted supers. I have the same issue with Cammy. I miss supers requiring a 3P or 3K button like Ultras. In SF4 if I was at full super meter I would intentionally waste a bar to avoid the possibility of getting a super by mistake.
