btw her forward dash has pretty much Urien’s range (which is bigger than Nash’s). They must really hate Nash if they leave him in that state after releasing Kolin lol.
Her dash shenanigans is real for now. An easy blockstring BNB I use to make people press buttons is cr.mp xx m dash (repeat) HUGE gap in there, but she can mix it up a number of very easy ways to keep the opponent guessing:
Use cr.lp>throw instead of cr.mp xx dash (differing blockstun and they will be trying to hit the dash after blocking cr.mp)
Cr.mp xx h dash (if they try to preempt the m dash with a button, the h dash goes over it, note that the h dash can crossup here as well, so it’s a multifaceted threat)
Cr.mp xx L dash (just a fakeout, but sets up M and L fireballs or forward jumps so it’s still a good threat if you want it to be
Cr.mp,st.mk xx (just a different timing and look from the regular cr.mp blockstring)
Using the above offense has allowed me to confuse the opponent and gives me a different look for when the frame trap/throw stuff is getting stale.
Something else I’m liking a lot is cr.lp,shimmy st.hp xx ex parabellum. Safe on block and does good damage.
Jump back jab is a good crossup beater like it is for most characters.
I haven’t read this entire thread I’ll be honest. But does EX dash have invincibility frames? I can use it to get out of ryu’s st.mp stmp frame trap even though her counters get counter hit.
Going to bed now finally, but tested more. Unsure if it’s frame 1 invincibility but I’ve used it to counterhit meaty attempts into pressure successfully. Also without meter, target combo into vskill is a mixup. People can check you with a light but you can counter it.
Also, I think this character has a 9-1 matchup against flowchart ken
