What is your control scheme? You might want to do some adjustments. Either way, as Maryokutai said, you can practice it with Ibuki. Urien too, but he’s a charger, so it’s a bit different.
I misread the post anyway, I though the issue was switching between two face buttons and a face button + shoulder button. I always use two face buttons for EX moves. Don’t think I’ve ever pressed the PPP or KKK shortcut buttons in SFV since CA only needs one button unlike SFIV’s Ultras.
Dunno, I’d just say practice it for a bit. It’s definitely more convenient to be able to use EX moves like that since you can use one hand for movement and motions and one for buttons.
I really wanna main Kolin, but I’ve never played a heavy mix up character before.

Why would anyone not try and AA with counter slam over her normals. Dat damage is crazy.

It does 240 damage and 300 stun. That is equal to an EX SPD from Zangief, it is amazing damage to be frank.
We need to know the startup first to know if it will be useful vs block string but i can already see it being amazing against something like Necalli’s stomps for examle.

When you are stunned and are in the frozen state, can you mash out of that stun state like a regular stun?
Because it’s still a read. People could empty jump and go mid or low or grab. Anti-airing with counter will probably best used sparingly to force the opponent to not hit a button at which point you can freely AA with a button of yourself without risking it getting beat out. Its pretty much a mind game at that point.

People just trying to throw random shade at Season 2 by attacking Kolin’s animations which all seem mostly her own to me.
Anti air countering us strong because it will force people to empty jump at you. Which means it’ll be easier to stuff jumps with buttons that wouldn’t be possible normally. If she also has a solid ground AA she won’t be jumped on very often.
I can see air fireballs being a problem. Neither V-Skill nor counter deal with it, the startup of Iceball is too slow, so Akuma gets to the ground first unless you predict the jump.
She got good air-to-airs though.
It is interesting if jumping vanity step could be useful against air fireball.
Wouldn’t her arm swipe during her FB nullify Akuma air fireball?
After watching the videos, I have to say she looks to be one of the harder characters to play. Expect to see alot next two weeks then very few will play her.
Well that’s good. Characters with depth take longer to explore but they end up surprising us the most with what they can do. Cant wait to see what the pros can do with her, better yet, what they can do with her in 2 years.
I really think Infilitration is gonna work magic with this character if he picks her up.
