Dude… Galamoth just doesn’t give a SHIT
I had it, too bad it was on a portable system and I couldn’t see shit.
Suddenly I am really interested in seeing a Shanoa/Galamoth game. Maybe Galamoth res’s Drac so he can steal his power and Shanoa intervenes?
I wouldn’t go that far, but it is definitely a great game.
If Soma’s allowed to get a sequel, then no reason Shanoa can’t IMO. They better get on that shit.
I remember when the SP came out. I shit my pants because I could finally see.
I’m not reaching it was that good. It captured the feeling of Super IV and successfully captured the feeling of Symphony.
I just started playing that game for the first time.
I’m stuck in that big old ‘Battle Arena’ area lol
I really just don’t agree with that.
Now, I do think a lot of people really overlook it. And that’s a shame, because it’s pretty damn solid. It’s got solid controls, solid platforming, good bosses (it has a great Dracula on top of that) and the DSS card system rocks the house (when you can find the cards).
But like, the castle’s kind of bland. There isn’t as anywhere near the attention to detail and care to each of the castle’s areas that SOTN had, nor any of Super Castlevania IV’s cool stage design. Most of the rooms are just kind of there.
Am I the only one who thinks MoF has potential to be one of the best CV’s?
It has everything you could possibly want in a Castlevania.
I’m really excited about MoF and bitter as fuck I don’t have a 3DS.
I need to get LoS before it comes out lol. The combat looks really fun in MoF, but I hope they fix the major flaw of all enemies needing a billion hits to die, it’s well documented by everyone who played the E3 build and from that video of that mini boss it’s obvious.
Yea I’ll agree with that.
That’s what I played it on, and I still couldn’t see shit.
The best Castlevania games I’ve played to date are the original and Super Castlevania IV.
II is retarded, obviously, III is good, but I didn’t really like playing as other characters that much, I prefer the SOTN route of just getting a new character once you complete the game.
Most of the others I haven’t played.
Also, my dad started his file of SOTN while I was work, winter has come early apparently.
So I’m looking at the Castlevania wiki, and it appears that Lords of Shadow I and II and the spin off DS series may be trying to add more backstory to the characters, mostly via Gabriel.
Is the canon really that fucked up right now? I know it has been in the past.
Lords of Shadows is it’s own continuity. You don’t need to worry about that. The main series canon is fine unless you have a problem with IGA removing Castlevania Legends from the timeline. I still think it’s bullshit that he did that.
That was the biggest issue right? Some female character with alot of plot holes or something?
A female lead kicking ass in the 1400s was too hard to believe. Like Castlevania ever given a shit about historical accuracy. The biggest reason for him to remove the game from the timeline is because Sonia gave birth to Trevor in the good ending. The ending implied that Alucard was Trevor’s dad and IGA didn’t like the idea of the Belmont clan being descendants of Dracula.
Legends was a shitty game.
The two GB preceding it were shitter games and they got to stay canon. It even got a loose comic adaption.
Oh I wasn’t saying it got removed the story due to being shitty. Just that it was shitty.
Had nothing on dawn of sorrow
