can someone help me out with the second boss in Draculas castle. The wolf shadow guy, Can’t seem to take him out?
is there some trick to getting that God damn Mandragora to drop a root? I’ve been killing them on and off for days and still no drop, my luck is at 32 currently, trying to finish that damn quest :mad: :mad:

I used the Union Vol Lumantio whatever with some sword glyph over and over again.
After I was out of Hearts I just put Vol Lumantio(it’s the greater light one) on both. Spammed and dodged.

Equip Onyx Pins and he won’t be doing insane damage to you anymore.
Pffft, spam Nitesco, he’s pretty damn easy to beat.
When he changes pattern about halfway through, jump, duck, jump. You’ll see what to do.
I used double Nitesco. If you use the double Nitesco union, you can still attack with your X and Y glyphs, which is great to pump out lots of damage fast. He’ll fall soon enough. Or you will: his attacks were doing 200+ damage to me.
yeah i just beat him right before you guys started chiming in with help. i used the chimera head, and the flame pillar to beat him, but if you have nitesco, which i got after the battle use that, its awesome.
yeah its random. Large cave gave alexanderite several times in a row until eventually giving me a Minerva’s mask.
There is a video of someone beating large cavern without getting hit. Flying and nova skeleton are you friends. In the areas with tin mans just fly in the corner and spam the light house glyph. You can quickly take out the weapon masters buy luring them into throwing there boomerang, flying behind them and spam nova skeleton. Also, since your pretty safe, stick on the death ring and take em out before they turn around.
boss, just equip death ring, put on white fomor glyph, dark glyph and dominus glyph. Spam glyph union a couple time and you win with maybe a little clean up.
How do I defeat this huge boss with like red orbs on his knees in Draculas’ castle?
First part just attack his legs with a heavy hitting rune such as the strongest hammer rune, dodging the attacks when appropriate. After the crystals shatter, he’ll rear up on his hind legs. Run to the center and use Scutum to guard yourself from the arrows he’s gonna shoot at you. Duck under the leg kick when you see it coming. Next part, just attack the legs and back off when he’s about to kick you; avoid the tail attack by sliding away when you hear it about to strike. After you destroy the crystals on the legs, I recommend destroying the crossbows on his sides. I killed the first one with by using the axe glyph while it was down due to its legs being destroyed. Keep destroying the leg crystals and then attack the first crossbow until it’s destroyed. After the first one is dead, you’ll have to get on its back to destroy the second one, dodging its pretty slow attacks. After that crossbow is dead, just attack the head with your strongest attacks, dodging when appropriate, and he’ll go down.
kill the front crossbow, shoot the knees until they break, run under him, wait til he jumps, go behind him, shoot the crossbow in the back and the back legs, he kneels down, jump on his back and shoot him in the head
on my 2nd playthru. Hard mode isn’t that hard but obsticles do more damage. I’m sure lvl 1 hard is very hard though.

I don’t think there’s an easy way to beat the boss. You just have to go through all the phases.
