He already had his mind set on him hating the fucking game, WHY would he then fucking pirate the fucking game he fucking hates?
or even play it in the first place!
Also mash x, how funny. Maybe on super easy mode, but on Paladin in LoS you could not mash x and it seems the same for LoS2, even the demo I couldn’t just mash x on hard.
Nah… Let’s make him turn into a fucking rat. Press B to finish off this enemy. Press B to finish off this enemy. Press B to finish off this enemy. Press B to finish off this enemy. Press B to finish off this enemy. Press B to finish off this enemy. Press B to finish off this enemy. Press B to finish off this enemy. Press B to finish off this enemy. Press B to finish off this enemy. Press B to finish off this enemy. Press B to finish off this enemy. Press B to finish off this enemy. Press B to finish off this enemy. Press B to finish off this enemy. Press B to finish off this enemy.
Can you imagine if when you were playing Metal Gear Rising, it said “Press R1 to Zandatsu!”“Press R1 to Zandatsu!”“Press R1 to Zandatsu!”“Press R1 to Zandatsu!”“Press R1 to Zandatsu!”“Press R1 to Zandatsu!”“Press R1 to Zandatsu!”“Press R1 to Zandatsu!”
Yeah that’s what this fucking game is doing. Yeah guys! They sure changed Castlevania for the better!
It doesn’t say “press B to finish off this enemy” ever. You can press any button after the circle lines up for a bite, or just not bite them if you don’t want to. You can also turn the circle line up effect off and just have the bite work from the get go.
So no that’s not what the game is doing at all. Stay ill informed.
We all know that a demo is where you can truly get a feel for a game . It’s not like the demo is merely the tutorial level and doesn’t let you experience key segments of the game like the stealth, open environments, and the full extent of the combat. Doesn’t even let you access the options that can help shape the experience like turning off QTEs. Honest try and demo don’t go together.
Yeah bro. Really want to try those stealth sections out!
Seriously this game is fucking terrible. This game is on par with DmC. LoS1 at least had some satisfying combat, but this? Oh man… They fucked up big time.
To make matters clear for you @rugalitarian I hated PoR do you think I kept playing it? No! And I’m not here complaining about it every other post. Get a fucking life dude.
Come on guys his trollish responses are expected, just ignore him. He’s already proven he doesn’t know what he’s talking about with his blatantly wrong information, so why continue to entertain him?
C’mon Rugal, hang it up. You know that you shitting on LoS in this thread isn’t going to change anyone’s mind.
So I’m REALLY looking forward to the game after playing through the demo several times (you guys who thought the demo sucked have no taste. That thing was 10 times better than LoS1 demo) but I’m broke and am not going to pirate it.
Fanboys are gonna be fanboys, but if this game wasn’t called castlevania you know as well as I do nobody would give a shit about it. LoS would have came and gone as a new IP. Nobody would have defended the cut and paste job if it didnt have the castlevania cred and built in fan base.
As a 95er who was pretty much absent from anything pre-64, what do you guys recommend as a good Castlevania game for a newbie like myself? Trying to get myself acquainted with these old games that I didn’t have a chance to play because of my birth year, and I finally got to beating Megaman as my first one not long ago.
Can’t go wrong with Castlevania 1 and 3. If you don’t abuse emulator features like save states that should keep you busy for a while.
Don’t even use save states to ‘save my progress’. well, CV3 uses password progress so you can use save state so you don’t need to use that to save.
The virtue of the old games is that they reward you for knowing, but they punish you severely for making mistakes. There are parts of CV1 that are impossible for beginners if you die in certain places.
Play them all, but maybe start with Castlevania Chornicles, then play some Dracula X Chronicles. After that, play through Symphony of the night and take it from there. Most of the games are pretty damn good. Oh, and how can I forget Super Castlevana IV? Make sure you play that one at some point.
Stay away from Lords of Shadow games. They aren’t Castlevania games.
Yeah i think actually the Wii has the best store if going the paid app route, with dracula x, chronicles, and a few others, i highly recommend 3 as 2 is really a labor of love because it’s not a great game and 1 is frustrating if you were not born in the 8 bit era.
1 and 3 are the best for the NES and a great starting point. They kicked off the series after all… Super castlevania 4 is outstanding on the snes. Symphony of the night for PS1 is thought of as the best game in the series and is regarded as the best playstation 1 game ever by most people. It’s available on Xbox live an PSN as well. Any of those are great places to start and they are all must plays.
Other great games in the series are aria of sorrow for the gameboy advance, dawn of sorrow and order of ecclesia for the DS, and as far as the 3D games go, lament of innocence for the ps2 is pretty cool despite its flaws. But play these after the first few mentioned. Stay away from the n64 games and lords of shadow series. They’re castlevania in name only.
Yeah. I highly suggest Castlevania 3. It was the first video game I ever played, and I’ve been hooked on Castlevania ever since. I wish they would remake it like they did with Rondo of Blood.
