Korra was awful but it wasnt exactly the korra’s team fault. it was 100% nickelodeon. I still think it was a bad series regardless of that though.
i’ll give credit where credit is due though-- most the time the animation was on point, Zaheer was an amazing villain and Bolin is best boy.
It needed time and planning. Animation was good… Designs were good. First season was good. Just forcing more when they didn’t plan to do more would have worked if they had been allowed to maybe take a hiatus to flesh it all out
The pacing was all over the place. issues, character progressions or events that should have been season long arcs were solved or figured out in passing. There was just so much I couldn’t get on board with.
Also the history of the first avatar being a 2-part episode and not being it’s own series will forever piss me off
Book 1 and Book 3 were great but even then they had issue. But they were the stand outs to me. Zaheer is one of my favorite villains in recent memory.

No surpise why Book 1 and Book 3 were great; Amon and Zaheer were amazing villains, who easily stand shoulder to shoulder or surpass the villains of the OG series!!
However, Book 4 the final season, needs some respect on its name!!

Good series. But I have never seen a cartoon protagonist get bodied as much Korra did. She’s like a warrior and a damsel in distress all at once.
