I canât understand how this is surprising when there were constantly huge gaps in between seasons. The show may be funny but those kind of wait periods are kinda silly and it was adult swim losing a lot of money.
From an outside looking in perspective every season felt like a series finale because of the the gaps in-between seasons for one reason or another
I hope they finished the last season

The huge gaps are just indicitive of adult swims shows in general. While venture took the extreme, I always figured itâs because they allowed the creators to take huge breaks for creativity sake. Adult swim in general tends to have shows take longer breaks in between seasons.

It had a good runâŚwould have been nice to get a clean series finale but Iâm not mad. Each season had less episodes as time went on.
Thata the buisness of TV now though. That doesnât indicate how good or bad itâs doing. Most shows seasons are 8 episodes or 12. A 26 episode season is rare
