i’ll just post this here for umvc3 haggar.

instant OH j.d+H, slight delay j.S, s.A, s.B, s.C, f+C xx violent axe M, S, sj.BCd+C (ground bounce), land, hoodlum launcher L, sj. BCu+C xx wild swing, land, otg d+H>f+H~Team Hyper Combo (Haggar Press), XF, hoodlum launcher L~sjc Haggar Press

works on hulk, so i’ll assume it works on sentinel and nemesis until further testing. damage varies per each xfactor, but did 1mil+ with xf2. otg drop kick>pipe~thc is a kara cancel from pipe into haggar press. if you do it fast enough, you won’t even see the pipe animate. works if haggar has no available partners for team hyper combo.

I found out haggar can combo from violent ax (M) into hoodlum launcher (L).

spencer, felicia, jill, frank (still need more experimentation with frank), rocket raccoon, and dante all seem to make great partners for haggar. i think umvc3 haggar is INCREDIBLY dangerous with the right teammates.

Haggar / Frank has stupid high DMG. I’m getting ~650k with pipe without meter.

I’m getting 740k starting from c.L, but I need a good third to help me get in. Now, what to do with all that meter gained… I guess there are reset options after the last OTG into a ground roll…

I think you’re better off empty pipe canceling.

Learn the non-groundbounce relaunches.for using after pipe.

First one does more damage. If you want to build more meter, don’t use Wild Swing and instead combo into j.M,M,u+H,S,land,d+H,f+H(whiff),d+H

Also just do d+H, f+H+THC to end a combo.

Went back to my old Vanilla team of Haggar/Spencer/Thor. Got a new combo that does a little over 1 mil starting with no bars and uses no x-factor. Assists are Slant Shot:a1: and Mighty Spark:a2:. Uses 1 bar and leaves you with about 65% meter.

You can do a level 3 RFF but some characters may go too high for the full damage.

Lv2 X-Factor infinite on Sentinel:
:d::h: (XFC) :d::h:,:f::h:, :f::f:, :d::h:,:f::h:, :f::f:, :d::h:,:f::h:, :f::f: …etc.

Kinda pointless since an X-Factored BnB kills anyone, but funny to watch.

Also works with XF3 on Nemesis, Dorm(corner only) and Hulk(corner only)

Does anyone have Bum’s combo for his Haggar with notations? That shit is so sick and easily sets up for team hypers…

Love the combos in that video, but not feeling the THC. I don’t like how Hawkeye can only do gimlet in THCs and the damage should be more than that for THCs to be worth the 3 bars. But I like the idea of poison + combo without having to have Hawkeye do anything but assists is too good. And that level 3 xfactor…

Damage is Damage though. Considering the smack down Haggar and Hulk deal + Poison you’re fine.

Uh, not to burst your bubble (though I do have a pointy needle and I’m tempted to use it), but Haggar’s been able to chain :qcf:+:m: into :dp:+:l: since vanilla… it was never Ultimate-exclusive. Ever. You just couldn’t chain into it with smaller characters like Morrigan, Felicia, Viewtiful Joe, Arthur and Amaterasu. In fact, six posts above yours (and three months prior), I give a very good example of that.

I never said it was Ultimate exclusive. Ever. It’s just more useful now that the scaling isnt as much of an issue now that he can continue combos much longer than vanilla.

Well, you say that… but you post a video of you doing exactly that in UMvC3, it kind of conveys a bit of ignorance. Violent Axe M → Hoodlum Launcher L has never not been useful…

…and since when do longer combos necessarily equate to better combos?

In the video i’m stating its a new bnb, and from there i’m merely describing what is involved in it. Not too confusing, but i guess now grammatically unpleasing.

If you use violent axe as opposed to hoodlum launcher you push your opponent towards the corner and did more damage because hoodlum would scale. Also putting your opponent in corner is a big goal of most characters. In vanilla, you wanted this to set up his reset option.

And longer combos matter because at a certain point maximum scaling is applied, so when that happens you want to get as many hits as you can to maximize damage before going into a reset situation.

I am glad Haggar became a better point character with his several buffs. I usually main him an team him up with Frank West and Skrull/Ghost Rider/Arthur. However, I’d like to master his deadly resets mix-ups but I’m not really sure of the correct commands: should I do dp+L, jump MH, air pipe, then land stand or crouch L and DP+H ?
Are resets also possible after a L or M violent axe?
