<font face=“Arial, Verdana” size=“2”><span style=“line-height: normal;”>So, I’ll just bring up the elephant in the room here:</span></font><div style=“font-family: Arial, Verdana; font-size: 10pt; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; line-height: normal;”><br></div><div><font face=“Arial, Verdana” size=“2”><span style=“line-height: normal;”>Has there been a custom rom that re-colors the backgrounds and maybe adds different character pallets? <font face=“Arial, Verdana” size=“2”><span style=“line-height: normal;”>So I figured out (Unless I’m totally wrong) that this game has no crossups. Moves that should crossup can be blocked normally so that kinda’ sucks. Not a deal breaker for me but I’m curious if there is a way to open them up because with Condor all you can do is jump Down C or D and go for a tick throw or go for another jump Down C and throw in an empty jump block/360 in there. </span></font><div><font face=“Arial, Verdana” size=“2”><span style=“line-height: normal;”><br></span></font></div><div><font face=“Arial, Verdana” size=“2”><span style=“line-height: normal;”>What can Condor do to stop Dao-long’s jump D? At least Sho’s Dive Kick has some delay but man is Dao’s jump D tricky to deal with. The only thing I figured out to do in that situation is quickly jump A. </span></font></div>
<font face=“Arial, Verdana” size=“2”><span style=“line-height: normal;”>Guys could anyone break down the differences between BR & BR Revenge? Im only a casual player of this game, and often preferred playing the original because everyone online seems to spam that new ninja character with the ridiculously safe move set. </span></font>

I honestly feel that if he had more than what you’re already doing, he’d be dumb as fuck. The guessing game off tick throws and poking is strong enough as is. If you read for jump-outs, you can always st.LP or Tomahawk into super. He’s really about conditioning the opponent to stay put and hold those 360s. Just be patient.<br><br>Vs Dao jump HK you can neutral jump LP or HK (both have good, disjointed hitboxes) or throw out a Tomahawk. All three would have to be done in anticipation of a jump in though. If you were to fall back on something reactionary, your best bet would be to space for a crouch HK to hit with the tip as Dao is landing from a jump in<br><br><br><blockquote class=“Quote”>

Check out either wikipedia or gamefaqs for differences. Also, Saizo (the new ninja character) isn’t all that safe lol. Kunais have a lot of recovery and while grenade has better recovery, it cannot travel full screen. His DP (circular sword thing) actually has a hurtbox on the sword sprite and can be hit. On block, the DP can be punished by <strike>a few characters</strike> most of the cast:<br><br>Condor - Tomahawk super<br>Rila - HP Rush Claw<br>Dao - HK Beat-down super<br>Pielle - Zorro Slash<br>Saizo - Down+LK+HK (slide)<br>Tia - Rapid Charge super<br>Alsion - st.LK (lol)<br><br>There may actually be a few other, better punishers or variants but this is just what I found from brief testing.<br><br>I think what’s both interesting and annoying about the current players at the moment is that while they have an amazing understanding of how offense and the combo system for the game works, I feel a lot of them are clueless about how to recognize punishable situations. I’m seeing far too much gimmicky stuff and often asking: “Why is he just sitting there”. I’m sure as we all continue to play though, people will have figured it out. Then I can get all hype when spectating matches.<br>
Wanted to do some kind of exhibition this weekend, showcasing various characters and playstyles in first-to-10 format. Don’t know who’d be will to participate or stream/record for that matter. There are a few matchups from specific players that I’d like to see. Also, probably going to take a break from the game for a bit after this wknd.<br>
Would like to get more of these up. Can’t seem to hold people’s interest in the game though. =|
When do you guys play this? Was on GGPO with a friend and there was only one other person, lol.
Pretty random when people show up for the most part. I notice though that the largest influx of players hop in the room around 10PM-12AM EST. Don’t expect a parade though.
New sets of the regulars going at it again. Upped by JLW.
No.Future vs Keogamer
Dopeman/ztb vs JLW
theres like 2-3 brazilians that are actually really really good at this game, yall need to play with them
god teh amount of sho and saizo i see is unreal. I know their top teirs an all but come on…
So did anybody knew that suparc(AKA arclive) can support breakers revenge? this is rather interesting as arclive as comparable net code to ggpo but it supports multiple lobby’s, player party (up to 4),records statistics and it does replays (and converts if not mistaken).
it seems the ggpo rom glitch seems to work but with bit of hiccups. like most notice able is that sounds are missing.( character voices) and certain graphical issue. (no character portrait in character select and some stages)
Hello everyone. I heard about this game a few times while listening to Super Desperation Radio, so I went to my local arcade and checked it out…YO Breaker’s Revenge is godlike! Was playing it for two hours straight, went thru the whole cast till I realized Saizo is my dude. His mix-ups are fantastic and I was confirming all his supers off normals (20-30 hit combos /Kreygasm) Played about 120 matches, got to level 8 and had to leave because the arcade was closing for the night. I gotta play this game again. Anyone have a link to a trustworthy rom? I would love to see it come to psn and/or Steam someday either by itself or in a SNK Collection.
Thanks for the character info. I’m going to print out the stuff about Saizo and take it with me when I go to the arcade again this Saturday.
Don’t know how I missed this but…
Wtf this game has stun tiers.
Using RD1 Stun Point Value (4096 Total) and Saizo qcb+LP to test character stun modifiers:
A (3456)
*Saizo *
B (3216)
*Condor *
C (3136)
*Rila
Maherl
*
D (2976)
*Tia
Sho
*
E (2896)
Pielle
Dao
F (2814)
Alsion
Saizo, for some reason, has highest resistance to stun while poor Alsion has lowest. With this data in mind, my game plan may actually change a bit (in round 1) against characters at D-tier and below, considering I have nearly 2K stun damage combos with my main character (Tia). Condor and Saizo also have some nasty high stun damage combos to be considered as well.
There MAY also be individual vitality damage mods but it’s hard to tell with this game and the timer damage mod. However, I did a quick test against the cast and the results didn’t appear to be significant.
Edit:
Oh yeah. . .I’ve been playing this game again lol
Decided to work on this game again.

Not seeing any difference in the hurt box colors besides blue which is projectile invincible. Which is known with Alsion’s Back D.
Any way to rip sprites or display them for this game. I would really…really like some Tia frames to work with <3
Quick look there is a testing background perfect for the job. I just need to get rid of the hud.
Edit too lazy to make obs record mame fully
Some interesting stuff
Some Amusing Stuff
Matches
We need to get a ggpo session goin’ again, maybe with a stream.
