I mean as far as aggressiveness I would agree but if you’re lumping Maidana into Triple G’s power or skill category I would draw the line there. Mayweather would run a lot but Triple G literally just KO’s with both hands to body and head. And he throws behind the gloves too. That’s exactly why I think he’d be great in mma. There dudes who act like that but you know a lot of em aren’t about that life. Hari just wants to kill you in the ring. That intensity is a great selling point. Dude does have a terrible temper though.
Well in this particular case Manny hasn’t done anything worthy of respect. He put himself in jeopardy to get a payday, he whined about Floyd running away and now he’s going to keep saying he won this fight and that Floyd’s ducking him again.
In this instance, Floyd has every reason to say “Fuck Manny”.
Manny legit thinks he got fucked in Vegas to keep Mayweather intact and he wants another shot to knock him out.
True or not, that’s exactly how Manny sees events. His corner was telling him he was up, and he legit thought he was up at the end, you could hear it in his voice, he wasn’t making excuses, he sounded shocked.
Floyd never wanted a rematch in the first place, he wanted his last bout to be a non-title bout, a retirement blowout. He got cocky at how he beat Manny, said he can do it again but he doesn’t want to do it again, he’s backing out to get what I wanted in the first place, a one and done payday to silence critics.
Manny can see it all he wants. Either he’s making excuses, or he’s freaking delusional. Either way he looks bad and he’s being a bitch about it. It’d be one thing to say “Well I think I won this fight or could’ve won this fight but I didn’t perform as well as I should’ve” or something to that effect. But to go “I won this fight, you ran all day, you did nothing” is as disrespectful as what Money would do. All he’s done as shown he’s really no different. He wanted the free payday just as much as Floyd and he’s just as inclined to insult the opposition.
I think he lost, I think he could have handled it better. He should have known what he was getting into, surely he would have been given the tapes. I dunno why he seemed surprised how Mayweather fought, perhaps he thought Mayweather was being disrespectful or cheap. I dunno. I think he needs to regroup for sure and stop digging a pit. He’s likely sore over the lawsuit on top of the loss right now and just feels the whole event was a scam.

Honestly the whole 24/7 with Canelo/Kirkland is very underwhelming. Granted Kirkland can hit, dude is awfully punchy, and I doubt Canelo will take the chance to get knocked out.
