I noticed many people accuse Floyd of “running” inside the ring, but I call it “defense”.
I guess people seem to think dude is just supposed to stand their and take punches for their amusement (which is retarded)
When Floyd fought Canelo, in the final round he literally ran the entire round. Used his legs and just avoided him. The think with Floyd is that he is a defensive fighter, but at the same time he can slum it out and just pot shot you for points. Its cool for him because it works, but at the same time it shows for a boring fight for both casuals and boxing fans alike.
I do not recall this, and I watched that fight. Time to go do some research

Yeah watch the last round. He was ahead on points so there really was no need to fight. He got booed but I don’t blame him. He said blocking one of Canelo’s punches dislocated his elbow, so there really isn’t a point in fighting the last round if you already have the match won.
