MMA fighters spend a lot of time working on clinches. Obviously in MMA you can strike in them and look for takedowns so it’s different but Muay Thai and clinch fighting is bnb type stuff for MMA.

aside from Hatton, neither Pac or Maidana looked hurt or scared at all in the fight. Floyd fought like DLH against Trinidad in those two fights, there was nothing he did that made any impact on them, they were not prepared to chase his ass all around the fight because in boxing doing that actually awards the aggressor.
Chad Mendez had him on his back pumelling him and he just talked shit, stood up and knocked him out. McGregor is tough. Punk wasn’t in his prime and went from fake sports to real sports. Conor is the world champion in MMA and has an amateur boxing background. Again, Mayweather will more than likely win but I don’t expect it to be a no-show like Punk was.

Edit: Fighting Floyd is every athletes/fighters dream. Honestly, if i was a pro fighter why on earth would i want to fight anybody else other than Floyd? If i fight against someone else, there is a chance that after the fight i will have some bruises and other levels of damage to my body and face (win or lose) while getting at best 10-30 million for it.
If it’s Floyd, i will make about 80-200 Million with out even getting a single scratch on me. i’d be ok with losing because i just got rich and i can leave the arena so healthy that i wouldn’t even need a band aid on me. That is like the easiest way to full on retirement with millions at a young age for any athlete.
Sure, it hurts the viewers more since they paid 100+$ for the PPV, while those at the arena spent 500-10,000 for the Ticket… but hey, most of them are likely Floyd fans and getting ripped off is something they fanboy over anyway.
