That sounds right. On top of Canelo being way too big for Pacquiao, he’s also a patient and skilled counter puncher. Not good.
Broner is too flatfooted for my liking. Plus he’s more slippery “in spots”, than being some pure slickster(Not sure how much of that might be him just baiting his usually smaller opponents into coming at him though).
The fight wasn’t that good because Pacquiao winning was expected. The moment i heard Rios, i immediately got shocked at the pick because Rios was nothing more than pre-fight card (and i still think he is). They put some kid who is trying to make his way up against a vet like Pacquiao?
I don’t think Pacquiao “returned” because he couldn’t knock the kid out, either he wasn’t strong enough to land a ko or he learned his lesson from the last fight with Marquez - to not just barrage in there for the sake of not getting caught again.
But the “comeback” fight was meh. I’m disgusted with it because i felt it was unfair to Rios seeing that he is still so young in his career.
