I have been playin bloody roar since the first one came out. I don’t think any Fighting game player can deny how much fucn u can have breaking those barriers on each stage with your opponent. Anywayz the transformations are getting cooler as Bloody Roar goes on. I think Bloody Roar 5 will be one of the best Fighting Games ever.

I didn’t expect to see any people playing it. Bloody Roar1/2 were good, I liked the combo system ALOT, but that’s it. I think part five is gonna suck. I don’t why, I don’t have any fact but the last instalments were real bad IMO.

lol bloody roar was onto something with parts one and two i enjoyed those, then it went off the rails so to speak.

I thought it was Hudson since they originated the concept, but the game was “passed around”. Konami must be the guys holding it now. I have a question: How does buying a fighting game franchise work? or any game franchise period?

Actually Konami made Bloody Roar 4 but all the other ones were made by Hudson Soft

Bloody Roar 2 was indeed a very fun game, but when they started making all kinds of dumb shit like an “unborn” I just gave up. I also used to like the music, but it’s all gone down hill. Too bad.
I still like Bloody Roar Extreme, trying to make a decent vid for it. I think Bloody Roar 5 definitely deserves a chance, maybe on next gen systems…hopefully Eighting will hop away from the Naruto stuff for a sec to give the series its due.

I guess I can see why people would find it cool, but it just wasn’t my cup of tea. I would much rather see “animal” transformations only, like in BR2. No made up shit.
Almost everyone agrees that BR took a dive on part 3, but a handful praise Extreme. I’ve finally gotten my hands on the GC version, now all I need is a converter and I’ll see how it holds up.
BR4 was utter ass. I’ve never been as disappointed in a sequel in my life. It’s sad because it doesn’t even look much better than the Extreme games. They also fucked up with the new Guard/Dodge system, and Career mode allows you to break the game for just an hour of your time.
I always enjoyed the bloody roar games,part 1 being my favorite,but part 4 kinda sucked.
One reason being the way the beast power level was linked to the life bar. In the previous titles part of the strategy and alure of the gameplay was building up the beast meter for a transformation,as well as the disadvantage in battle for those stuck fighting in human form when their beast levels ran out.
But with bloody roar 4,you can transform at the begining and be in beast mode through the entire 2 rounds.Lousey.
Ok…I admit that BR4 was basically BR4 with extra shit but wat I like about it was the new characters. If Bloody Roar 5 can chage the whole style of the way they made BR3, BRPRIMAL FURY, BRExtreme, & BR4 and make it better. Fix some of the things that turned people off of it BR5 could possibly contend wit the likes of Tekken 5, Virtua Fighter 5, and DOA 4. Resident Evil was hated on for so long becuase of the shitty ass camera angels and character movement but RE4 changed all those things that critics would get them about and made a really good game.

Are u guys really fighting game players? Every BL after the 1st were just prettied up garbage. :lame: 1 had a fighting system, 2 came out and it became a very lame fighting system. It was all about those super special moves they gave everyone. Plus they fucked up my mole man ninja character. The only only good character was the bug guy. i played 3 n 4 briefly and they were as :lame: as 2.
