But, there are lots of people who have families, work 40 hour weeks (I don’t have the kids, but I do work the 40 hours/week) and still travel to tournaments. You should check Austin if that’s close to you. One of the best arcades in the US is there.
As for the rest of your post, there’s a big difference in wanting to see how you match up, and starting off the talks by “issuing a challenge.” Having dudes like Humble Breaker try to provoke responses didn’t help you any.
If you want to see where you stand with SRK, then do it at a major face to face. Do it at Chinatown Fair or UFO or Arcade Infinity. Do it at Season’s Beatings in Ohio, Northeast Champions in Philly, Final Round in Georgia, Sinsation in VA (is that happening this year?), East Coast Throwdown in the Tristate (venue still pending), Evo in Vegas. Don’t hide behind your routers lol. I’m all for hype tournaments, but by coming over here and challenging SRK’s best to online matches, you’re basically shooting in the dark. Nothing is going to come of it unless it’s face to face. That’s how our community works, period.
