I’m not sure if I will be able to go to EU tomorrow. But I will try to go. Depends on when I go see my friend in SF.
Anyways, black friday was nice. I was planning on going out to hunt for deals, but I found that sale for the sticks instead. I got two round 2 TEs. And I also bought Ace Attorney Investigations for 15 bucks. I was also hunting for good deals on consoles, but there wasn’t much.
About meeting at shytzoo’s place, I probably can’t go tomorrow. But if we can arrange a future meeting then I can give a ride to a few people who want to go.
I will probably show up at EU, but only for a few hours. I got lots of homework to finish >.< So yeah, not sure when I’ll show up. I might wait for Zaku, but if he isn’t back, I might just go by myself.

That said, I’m kinda all over the place right now since I spent the entire night looking for a decent drawing program for a Mac… and I came across it: Sketchbook Pro from Autodesk and it’s amazing and I want it and it doesn’t cost $600.
Hooray.
(in hindsight, I have the CS5 trial and came to the realization that I couldn’t understand a fucking thing… thank god I didn’t pick it up when I got the computer)

As for which console, I normally would suggest X-Box because of X-Box live, but then I realized that I haven’t been playing online consistently for weeks/months…
Our local meets have pretty much removed most of my desire to play online.

ALSO, Chris, let’s practice combos in MVC2; I didn’t get as much practice as I would’ve liked given, well… running around for the last few days.

We are meeting at Eudemonia at 2PM to my knowledge. And I told you Marvel would fall by the wayside for you. 
I wanna get at some Marvel for a few rounds! I practiced some of Cammy’s combos! Still have no idea how the game plays fundamentally though.
Nice! I’ll play around with Cammy some and see if I can find some of why she’s among the upper tiers other than her GDLK damage output and assist.

(but, yes, it was getting done, but we ended up running around during Star Base night and thanksgiving and Black Friday… which I’m to understand sucked, but I went out because I needed stuff that wasn’t necessarily on sale)
That said, thank god I woke up; I’m leaving the house around 12:30 and will be in Berkeley by 1am; I’ll probably practice some MVC2 while waiting for people.

So, I was practicing some Marvel instead of finishing up my homework…
I could not really do the Iron Man infinite… I got like 4 reps at most. I seem to be throwing fierce too soon all the time. Also, practicing random stuff with Psy and Jill. I can’t seem to find anything besided magic series for jill in terms of combos (actual combos, not like two hits into hyper combos…) Is her game mostly based on screwing with the other guy with zombies and stuff? Also, I didn’t have the time/patience/execution to land it to really test it out, but could you iron man infinite off of doom’s rocks?
As for the Thursday thing, its part of the Anime Club’s game night at UC Berkeley. It is located in the building Dwinelle, in a random room in the second floor (i really mean random since we usually just occupy an unused room). Its from like 730 to whenever DKL decides to leave (we use his setup for this), which is usually around 11/12
On Jill, she has really good normals and her basic decently damaging combo is:
2hp, 8, magic series xx dash xx super dash optional DHC into hail storm.
IM can indeed hit infinite off of doom rocks, I’m not especially awesome at it, but it’s many people’s preferred way of opening it since on block the safety + mega chip is sweet.
I think 3hp does one more damage for Jill for some weird reason…
Anyways, I don’t know if I’ll make it out to the SFSU meet this weekend, and I definitely won’t make it to the EU/Shytzoo meet the week after that due to finals, and not sure when I’m going back home yet. Might be able to make it to one more before I go home, but not too sure on that, so I might not see you guys for like a month and a half or so ;(
