is there a way to set the deadzone for 0.64 or this that for newer mame only?

Would having a Low wireless signal strength create lag? As I have about 1/3 of a second input lag when I play online via kaillera.
Wireless of any kind will cause you to have intermittent lag spikes, because you’ll constantly be dropping packets as the signal wanes.
Kaillera is not viable on wireless, period.

So how is Kaillera for DSL/Broadband?
Cable and DSL are synonomous with broadband. :wonder: As long as both parties have a decent connection, then it can be great. If either party’s connection is crap, or someone is downloading/AIM’ing/whatevering in the background, or if they share a connection with others that are using the connection while a game is going, you will see intermittent laggage as well.

What ports do I need to open? Can’t connect to servers.
I downloaded the 32K.64, but don’t see the arcade cabinet icon shown in pic 1 by FatherB, or a way to get into options. I’m stuck very early on- but I’m not a high-end programmer. Did anyone else run into this?

I think this is the 3rd time soneone asked about “what ports do they need open to connect to servers…” in this forum that I’ve seen. fatherbrain should make a sticky faq thread on this type of commonly asked questions for newcomers 
I can’t even get Mame to start up. I keep getting an error about not having DirectX installed, which I know I do.
Any ideas? I’ve reinstalled DirectX as well as Mame several times to no avail.
I just got an Xbox 360 controller for my pc. I checked the use joystick box but I can’t get the controller to work. Any suggestions?
EDIT: Actually I can’t get the d-pad to work.

Since this is page is in Japanese here’s help on getting started, scroll all the way to the bottom of the page, under the readme link:
The first 5 links are Mame.exe’s, top is newest, only one is needed.
6th link is mame folders, all the subdirs for mame, you’ll need that as well.
7th link is the language files (needed)
9th link is english kaillera dll, (goes in mame root), if that doesn’t work just use the anti3d.com dll
If the app starts out in Japanese Language, the 3rd button on the top bar is options, and the last item on the menu is to select language
Hey father brain, I bought the radioshack converter and it works decent with my MAS stick (its hella hard to pull FB’s on SFA3) but my HRAP doens’t hit diagonals! Ive been looking for another converter to get but the ones I keep hearing are “Magicbox”, “Dreambox”, “Windspirits”. Which one would work for the Hrap?
Also im having trouble having neo geo games work on Mame .32, I dl the bios, different ones at that and none of the games are appearing on the list! Just kof 2000. Should I just dl another version of mame to play kof on kaillera?
Updated sites are carrying the newer Neo-Geo/Universe bios for later Mames. If the games work in a new version of mame but not the old one (64), then you’ve got to try and find an older bios.
SF:AC stick doenst work with the usb adaptor… any reasons why?
