What part of Bham do you live? A lot of Bham reps are in Bessemer and Midfield which is not too far from each other. The downtown Bham scene(UAB area) is growing some.
The games BHAM we play are everything except SF4 and Arcana. Gump plays a lot of SF4. Auburn is the same as us + Skullgirls hype and MvC2 matches, oh and Super Turbo. And a lot less KOF13.
We play on PS3 but occasionally 360, actually about half the scene has 360’s but PS3’s are more convenient at this time for convertors, etc.
Tuesdays and Thursdays at Playover Movies and Games. Ask Raekwon about it(most likely he’ll quote you too)
We have monthlies around like every 3 months in Bham, and about once every month or two in Bama. We try to make it to Georgia,Tennessee, and Mississippi tourneys as well.

Thanks for the replies guys. I live in the Homewood area, so downtown Bham is only a few min away. As far as the games go. I currently own AE and Marvel for both ps3 and 360. I played AE pretty consistently for couple of months but was complete ass at it. Right when I was finally starting to get a grip on the mechanics of the game(footsies, option selects, etc…), UMVC3 came out and I haven’t looked back since. So as of right now that’s all I play, but I’m completely open to pick up whatever games are big in the community. So if there are any y’all play as much as or more than Marvel, let me know so I can start them up!
Also, are the Bham Tuesday and Thursday casuals on ps3 or 360? I’m just wondering if my friend is going to need to invest in a converter or start learning how to play on a stick.

Tuesday nights we usually hit up fight night in T-Town and thursday we try and roll out to Huntsvegas for gatherings.

You’re not going to find many flatscreen displays that do much better than 8ms. From my own testing, the so-called evo monitor has roughly 0.5 frame delay (8ms) at 1080p and 1 frame delay (16ms) at 720p. And considering that most majors use these monitors or others with similar performance these days, you pretty much have to get used to it now.
oh I don’t have a problem with it, its just the problem of going from one tv to another when they have different delay.

On March 31 Were having a Gaming Convention on campus at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa so Fight League is running a ton of tournaments.
