Went there last night for the lulz, and I had a hunch there were some Street Fighters in there. A lot of hip black dudes and middle Eastern folk… a pretty good mix of people, actually. I was just waiting to see someone rocking a Broken Tier shirt in there.

I’m definitely in for Marvel next year and also probably in for the 3-game grab bag. I’m not participating in SF4 because I’m totally dead weight to a team in that game.
Anyone in the Gump got an HDMI splitter I could borrow for testing? I basically want to check and see if the splitter I have lags at all, and in order to do that I’m going to temporarily need a 2nd splitter so that I could run a setup like this and observe any delay between the two monitors. If not I could always pick up another. Might spring on a 1x4 to supplant/replace my 1x2.
Also, to the GTSouth crew: Could you check with your internet service provider and find out what downstream/upstream bandwidth you’re supposed to be getting? Whenever I’ve run a bandwidth test from that place, it jumps between 1Mbps and 3.5Mbps for upload, so I’m wondering if you’re supposed to be getting around 4Mbps but something is throttling or otherwise interfering with the connection. A 4Mbps signal would be fantastic, though 1Mbps can cut it if that’s what we’re stuck with.
To whomever I talked with about USB headsets, I think I’m going to shop around online for some.
I’m also going to try and figure out how to fix audio levels on this stuff over the remainder of the weekend. For some reason xSplit is ignoring all of the audio settings in Windows and is picking up devices that are supposed to be muted.
EDIT: Alright, I think I’ve got my audio issues straightened out. Any further problems with the setup should be a direct result of the quality of my current headsets, which seem to be weak overall and pick up more of the surrounding noise and chatter than they should.

Friday night was on point. I appreciate GT South for the league and 6:45 for the stream. Lets hope next time we decide to spend our money at the Waffle House, they accept our cards. Sorry I wasn’t able to come in yesterday since some things came up that I had to take care of. Even though we are dead last in the standings, I had a ball at the league session this past Friday. Saw some pro level play in AE, saw some of the guys from our heydays at Aladdin’s Castle & Diamond Jim’s, and it’s always nice being around a group of folks having a good time.
