The next Streetfighter and Drink Night is this Friday in Auburn and as always everyone is invited. I hope montgomery peeps can make it this time. The general skill level here is rising and it is a fun place to be on Friday anyway.

Birmingham is probably as far as I could go for casuals and stuff since it’s only 15-20 minutes away. I was kind of curious though. A lot of you seem to be playing on 360. I play on PS3, so what am I supposed to do about the controller?
I’m used to using a stick on PS3, but it’s not compatible with the 360, soooo…do you guys supply sticks to use for the 360 or something? I’ve never participated in a session offline before or a tournament, so I’m new to the whole thing. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

i dont know about the birmingham folks but here in auburn we use a ps3 and a 360 and also sticks for both
if you use a TE stick you are probably in luck as the majority of people use TE sticks or similar, i don’t know about them in birmingham but i suspect it is the case
BHAM/Bessmer players are primarily on PS3. If we were on 360 we’d let you use one of our sticks anyway…

I thought there was an even amount of people who play on 360 or at least there are a lot of people who play on stick. As a pad player, I can’t stand the PS2 controller. Something’s up when you have trouble doing instant airdashes.
you should teach them Dong Dong Never Die because it runs on the same engine and has cooler characters

me eddie jedd and tadd (and about 4 others) have all started playing games again randomly, probably because of SSF4 and we got some kinda comic store opening throwing a SSF4 tournament in a couple of weeks we should try and set somthin up like a 5 years later reunion or some shit and throw down on some oldschool games or some shit

The gatherings take place at my apartment, sorry no indoor smoking. Of course you can smoke on our porch though.

we are playing ssf4, guilty gear, mvc2 here. theres a few nooblets that mash buttons but they said they want to learn guilty gear so we are teaching them, i am also a nooblet on guilty gear but of the non-button mashing variety… and raph is godlike at gg. when i play raph i just feel like [media=youtube]KS7apTzfhfw[/media] that whole time though… i suppose when i play skitz in marvel its like that too though
mvc2 is when montgomery folks come (only wes (not birmingham wes, another one) so far but if anyone else then them too) . ssf4 is every time. guilty gear is like the side game but i’m liking it better than ssf4 right now because i can pick robo ky and he has flight mode and missiles and shit.
