There is a pretty small scene brewing in Troy right now. A friend an I are in the planning phases of a company to bring more gaming functions and the like to Troy and Southeast Alabama so we would certainly like more players. In terms of Marvel I know the player base we had actually spiked a bit with some people i didn't even think would touch the game picked it up and are playing it now.I know we're running about 12 total at the moment, but we haven't done much advertising at the campus yet.
Also, we've got the Dothan scene only an hour away as well. They've had a few ups and downs the past few months with the owner of the store they were playing at giving up on the console arcade part of the business before it could really get started. Right now I talk with a few players from there nightly and a lot of them would enjoy having another place to play since they all have issues that keep their play sporadic at the moment.

my char loses 3-7 to yun but i just accept it and i will find ways to get yun to kill himself with his own cheapness. you have to abuse that every top tier player in history gets too excited about getting their 7-3 matchup dick out and then you punish him. if clockw0rk can do it to sscyke, then you can surely do it to yun.
Props to Raekwon for driving 6hrs from B’ham to attend the ACT 2 Tournament in Aiken yesterday. I’m not sure about the first month in August, but I’ll try to make a trip there if something going on in September. Bama’s got some dedicated players.

Like I said before, I’m not sure if I’ll have that first Saturday off in the beginning of August but later in the month or September would work for me.
