Playing on a PS3 literally pisses me off on the inside. Can we have like two or three 360 setups or something for those who prefer 360? If anything, can’t we vote on what console we want it to be played on?

To be honest the 360 is more so the best system to play on. Except other the the controller port issues, but thats ok unless a pad warrior shows up. ps3 was the standards at Evo ,and that makes the standard for everywhere else mostly. We could vote ,but there isn’t a real need to. Most ppl play on sticks and have either both or dual mods, then we’re back at the standard by default. I would actually prefer 360 but the community has spoken .

When the fuck did they speak? Cause all I hear is niggas talking about how they hate how every tournament is on PS3. In Bama and ATL. It’s one of the dumbest problems I’ve seen, like being pissed of you’re hungry but won’t eat a burger in front of you. Can’t we do polls and shit here? How about we get anyone who reads this on a regular basis to cast a vote NOW. We could tally the votes in a week or so, and maybe actually influence some shit. All you really need is some setups. I barely get why it’s an issue.

Naw man, it needs to be PS3 cause myself and several others play on pad and I would rather hit my dick with a hammer than play on a 360 pad that you cant even block properly with(this applies to Marvel only)
This is kind of why I say it should stay the way it is. You’re gonna piss some people off either way it goes. It’s only a real issue to pad players and they’re in the minority. The standard is the standard because people generally follow Evo. Then if you have half 360 half PS3 at at tourney then you have to worry about who plays on what or someone complaining about what system they have to play on and then that’s pretty retarded if it comes to that. My opinion on the situation is you, as someone who wants to be competitive at FG’s, know what the tourneys are gonna be on, so either get some actual practice on said console or pad before the tourney and get casuals in when you get there. My vote would be for keep it how it is.

So between that time people voted and ranted for which console to play on. Then evo was to be played on ps3 . Booked closed.
If the biggest tourney in your nation is being played on ps3 that shit ,kinda becomes the standard.

Can’t believe that there are that many hang-ups about system selection around here. Everyone really just ought to be prepared to play on either at this point, even pad warriors. Good PS2->360 converters aren’t hard to come by anymore. 360->PS3 converters probably are, but no one in their right mind would use a 360 pad anyway. 
I kinda wish tournaments were on 360 more often just because I’d be able to actually provide a set-up in that case, but whatever.

Anywho, shame the best console for a given game isn’t the automatic standard.

I’m really not understanding why some folks are so adverse to playing on a different console. Is there some fundamental difference between the system and mechanics of SSF4 (or any fighting game for that matter) on the PS3 and the X-Box 360?
