360 to PS3 and PS3 to 360 converters all cause input lag as far as I know, so you’d probably be better off just playing on PS3 pad honestly.
I’ll definitely get in some casuals with you beforehand tough, I’m not sure what I’ll be wearing or anything though, so I’ll come up to you I guess.
Doom’s combos are pretty timing specific, so input lag is gonna screw you over.
Also, Amaterasu is a real dog.
I take it you Haven’t touched a inpin converter or etokki either?
Last thing i heard, the new ps3 firmware doesn’t support 360 to ps3 converters.
I haven’t played with either of them, it’s just what I’ve heard.
I’m pretty sure that if they really are lag free though then you would see a lot more people with PS3 sticks and converters than 360 sticks and dual mods.

It’s gonna be on PS3 is the issue. I have the pad, but not the convertor.
I play on the joystick which is why pad is such an unspecific word. It feels unnatural to me and my inputs are screwed to hell when I try and play on a PS3 joystick because of it’s positioning. It feels much more natural to play on the D-Pad when playing on a PS3 controller, but I’ll be damned to hell if I can make a D-Pad work for me.
I definitely play Smash 64 competitively using a Gamecube -> 64 controller convertor and do not notice any issue with performance even when picking up odd combos. I don’t drop Z-cancels and I aerials don’t turn into tilts or vice versa. Even if I’m wrong and I’m playing on a convertor with significantly noticeable lag that heavily affects my performance, I still would feel much more comfortable than playing on a PS3 pad with no delay.
I may enter regardless and simply hope that I don’t play anyone who doesn’t use a stick and has a basic understanding of the game.I can bring at least one 360. All of my TVs will probably be devoted to smash though. Again, depends on how well I place in smash and how some money matches go.

Alright so, had fun last night as usual. Imma drop some lottery money into “the mouth” Anotak if I ever get it. Or if I whenever I manage to find another job in this tiny place =/
But what perhaps is just as important is the fact that I tried Marco’s today, and Marco’s has the best Pizza in Auburn, effortlessly. There aren’t any close 2nds, as much as I love Howie’s, Marco’s is just that good.
I don’t know if it’s because they have the ONLY kind of pepperoni I actually like (I like the small crispy ones, they call them “Old World”) or if it’s because they have the style of italian sausage I like (more like random clumps of italian sausage as opposed to the perfectly similar small chunks) or if it’s because extra cheese means extra cheese (what I got was a layer of cheese with a few toppings on it, another layer of cheese, and a few extra toppings on top of that layer). Maybe it’s a combination of all 3, I dunno, but that 'ish was delicious. Them and Howie’s are probably the only places where you can genuinely get extra cheese and notice that there is obviously extra cheese on it. Not to mention the Pizza actually had flavor. Like, everything had its own separate flavor. If you’ve eaten Pizza Hut or Domino’s you know the flavors largely run together and taste pretty similar with the exception of Pizza Hut’s “pork” topping.
And I got a free order of cinnamon bread with my pizza… that 'ish was amazin all its own. Perfect balance of buttery and sweet.

Not to mention 2 days of food for $12 works just fine for me.
I havn’t had Johnny Brusco’s yet, but I’ve heard they’re not quite as good as Marco’s, but about as good as Mellow Mushroom or Brick Oven. Not I’m not sure I’ll ever get around to trying em haha.
Today was pretty awesome.
I’ve also developed an intense dislike for the PS3 pad and it’s stupidly place joystick. I’m okay with the marshmallow-like L2 and R2 thingies.
I prolly would have gotten much farther in brackets on Xbox. But that’s all the bitching I’m gonna do tonight.

i dunno man i’m not a huge fan of marco’s sauce. i prefer pjs over marcos, but mellow over all, we have a place in town called jets that does a pretty good chicago style pie, and there was a local chain called terrys that made really great pies, but they shut down.
