You don’t need corner positioning to do that. But replace falling rain with hcb+k for more damage.
Midscreen barely matters. There’s better juggle material than j.HK cr.HP even in the trials.
Yep, QCB is more damage.
Trials show 2 follow-ups to upkicks, both of which require meter so I dunno what you’re talking about. Kicks -> J HK -> Cr HP does 232 damage. If you want to show me something that does more damage than that meterless midscreen feel free to do so, because I don’t share the philosophy that “mid-screen barely matters.”
And you do need a corner to do HK -> Falling Rain in a juggle.
You have time to walk forward after the launcher and connect st.RH xx Falling Rain midscreen.
The juggle from the gamesradar video does slightly more damage (f+MP --> cr.MK xx exorcisor full hits.)
From trials, the trial 17 juggle is better than either of those (st.MK, cr.MP xx hcb+K -> cr.HK.) Trial 19 is basically the same concept with a different command normal, and Trial 15 as well if you replace the chained st.HK with a special move. Trial 20 (dash cancel) can be modified to not use meter and do more damage.
Forward LK works as a good AA for me
ok idk how useful is this, but you can do her MP~c.LK chain like 3 times in a row as a blockstring, you can also end it with specials so its pretty dope.
Also, no need for the “you suck” tone, game’s still not out for everyone and its mostly just fucking around and trying shit out.

Ugh, her b+3 is now f.LK (f+3). Transitioning from Tekken will not be easy…
Yeah I mostly played her in Tekken and she is just totally different in this game tbh. I don’t want to call it a bad translation, but Asuka fans will be starting from scratch.
Also, not being able to counter jump-ins has been breaking my heart, but I will still try to play her! Also, I thought I read Exorciser was supposed to go through fireballs, but only EX does?
So, it’s cool to see a couple combo videos already, but I’m not sure which combos are the most relevant. Anyone have suggestions?
Never played Tekken with her in it but the slow start up of her Air Grab is sad. Only the EX is viable for reacting to jumpins.
Im starting to think her Forward Light Kick to Forward Light Punch is pretty good to set up juggles and tag situation.
Also you can cancel into Normal special moves from her Tekken Chains unlike the regular chain combos. Example Medium Punch to Light Punch or Medium Kick to Down Medium Punch. You can cancel into all her special attacks which can keep her pretty safe.

Yo, Arc-rail was correct. Kicks -> Forward MP -> Cr. MK -> QCB + P does 274 damage if all hits of QCB + P hit. I think that’s the most we’ve seen so far meterless.
Well actually it does less at the end of a long chain but it builds more meter so that’s what I’m using right now
Been in the lab with Asuka since Thursday and thought I should share my meterless BnB.
“Chain-Ception” is awesome, found out about it on Friday or Saturday I think, can’t remember been playing the game too much. But anyway my BnB’s are:
LP -> [MP -> LK or LP] -> [MK -> Down+MP] -> Upkicks -> J HK -> MP or MK -> HCB+K -> d.HK = 294 dmg (1/2 meter)
LP -> [MP -> LK or LP] -> [MK -> Down+MP] -> Upkicks -> J HK -> MP or MK -> DP+P -> d.HK = 292 dmg (1/2 meter)
Would’ve posted sooner, but this game is too much fun.
Here’s a fun one: Jump-in HP-> LP-> MP-> LP-> MP-> LK-> MK-> cr.MP-> Upkicks-> F+MP-> cr.MK-> HCB+P
This is my current bnb but with a LP after the MP. The second LP forces the opponent to stand and is the only way a HK will connect in a chain in case you want to go down that route.
Prepare your bodies.
I haven’t seen this mentioned for some reason, but f+mp gives you ground bounce in juggle state, use it in your combos please.
J.HP>MP>LP xx Upkicks> F+MP> F+LP > C.MK > QCB K. 377 damage no meter.
In that case, can you do Double Lift Kicks, j.RH, land and get f+strong in time? That would be sick…
