I actually f.SRK’d a lvl 2 FA earlier today and it didn’t armor break…
I was dumbfounded lol.
SRK does not armor break. This isn’t complicated.
SRK only armor/FA breaks on reversal.
i think the final round of your 1st set, you should of FADC into ex tatsu just to make sure gen was dead. the momentum could of swung and would of cost you the match. it was the last round so just blow those ex meters!!!

actually, no it cant. SRK come out in 3 frames. As long as the jump-in is deep enough, it will win. Most lvl 2 FAs come out in about 17 frames, give or take. So that gives you 14 frames of recovery on jump-in. I dont just play online, I play offline a hell of a lot at local event,and I know fr a fact that, if I hit my jump-in deep enough, SRK can’t be beaten.
Oh, and to the people who said SRK doesnt break armour. I know that, but the point is that he had already jumped-in and hence taken the absorb off the FA.
If Ariez is the Gen player, maybe he should have said so in posting. Given that this is a RYU THREAD, one usually presumes that the OP uses Ryu. Thanks for waisting my time.

Wow, did anyone else notice that Poongko’s style has changed drastically in his recent vids. He doesn’t take unecessary risks anymore. He still has that “in your face” style but it is played more conservatively. Guess those matches at the Gamestop tourney were a real eye-opener for him.
yeah i noticed that alot too, but he gives a perfect amount of rushdown to his style still. if u notice he’ll play cat and mouse and jump back randomly, den rush down again. and he does it right which gets him wins.

This is not definitive, but it looks to me like he’s doing the ol’ joystick waggle SRK then, anticipating a jump, as (I’m pretty sure) the CPU will option select the correct direction on input-
