I didn’t say anything about pointing out what was good only. I just simply don’t agree with posting time markers at which the player failed to do what the critic thought should be done. I’m all for pointing out the weaknesses and I’m fully aware that’s what a developing player needs. I just don’t necessarily care for the method. Take it easy.
The reasons the video was posted was for criticism. I’ts not like I flamed him or anything,I just gave my opinion, and I’m not stating it as gospel.I dont know what the players habits are based on 2 matches, so I have to point everything out, that way he can choose himself what he likes or doesnt like.
Hell, if someone put the time into analysing one of my matches, as I do with many people, I’d be more than pleased, but let’s see what the player thinks.

Anyone check out darksydephil’s series of Ryu videos? Seems like he detests Ryu for some reason and calls him a “scrubby character” even though one of his mains is Sagat.

Anyway I noticed that he seems to do a lot of wakeup ex tatsus is that an effective technique? It seemed to work on the people in the videos, but then again those people weren’t very good.
BTW I heard DSP was banned for life from this forum anyone got a link to the thread that got him banned lol would be a fun read I’m sure.
Had a look through these- always good to see other people’s Ryus. Especially when they’re better than me! Anyway, I noticed one glaring thing- I don’t think you used ultra once in the matches you lost- I may be wrong. So that means you’re not setting it up enough. If you can connect c.lp or c.lk, you should be able to cancel to SRK FADC ultra. Not that I can. But if you watch (that man again…) Daigo, he gets an ultra in pretty much every darn round.
I don’t think this is your only problem, but fix this and you’d be winning some of those rounds you lost…

Really good block strings. Use this more and play more agressive. You play to much turtle style my friend 
- Never do Tatsu from full/half screen if no projectile is shot.
- Dont shoot your ex-fireball from fullscreen. it will simple blocked. shoot it if you get your opponent in the corner and he wants to jump away or after a lp srk.
- stop using srk on wake up. just block.
- do c.hp against tatsu for more damage
- work on your BnB combos. c.mk+ex-Tatsu

Anyone know the timing is needed to pull out what the Ryu does at 4:10?
Yeah; all Vegas rolls have inactive frames. At the end of the roll, there are 6 inactive frames prior to the final 4 active frames. You dont need to worry much about the timing though. Just block the first hit, then mash DP until it hits, then, in this case, just combo into super.
Oh sweet. I’ve been wondering what moves that put you in auto block where you can start mashing DP (noob tactics yay!)

0:28 : I presume that was an acidental hado. Either you need execution practice o you need to focus more (if you actually didnt see him jump by then)
0:45 : I would suggest you think more about where you go for SRK FADC ULTRA - you did it sfter a j.fk that he blocked. He’d be blocking anyway as he would presume a string was coming.
you did the exact same jump thing again with the hado. That makes me think youre not quite focussing, or you have poor reaction times.
1:19:that jump-in was risky as hell, even though it worked. Had he responded better you might have lost the round.
All throughout : Gen’s jumps have crazy range. Be more careful with hados.
k: youre jumping shit loads. Somehow you got away with it, but nevertheless, it isnt smart. Try to work more of a ground-game.
1:40 : I personally wouldnt use EX FB so much. It’s not that useful, and you can get much more damage out of an EX.
1:57 :with the amount of jumps you were doing, you were bound to pay for it sooner or later.
2:12 : SRK everytime he FA’s a jump in. FA cant beat SRK.
k; I havent got time to watch the rest. Overall, you have a few faults. Work on your execution. Time your cross-ups better. Dont jump so much. Think more about your ground game. Ryu should be played defensively until you see a weakness. His damage is up-close. Force a knockdown after the opp’ makes a mistake, then attack. Dont just jump-in and constantly look for damage.
btw; you seemed pretty good. I’m not a master myself. I think if you calmed down a bit, and sorted out your execution, you could be much better.
