hmmmm vs guile it was solid but you missed alot of AA opportunities and at cr.mk range feel free to poke! if you get lifelead just chill!, i saw you also tried after a knockdown you did alot of cr.mp can be good but if you do it often like you did you might eat a reversal, try to mix it up a bit vs guile always either go for a cr.lp cr.hk combo since he really doesn’t have a great reversal so you can do more dmg on him and cross-up him since if he misses you can sweep him and repeat:) or do the RH.tatsu come to take him in the corner vs dudley just poke him all day did a matchup thread put you played good vs abel and dudley so i have nothing to say^^ VAMOS ARGENTINA lol.
almost forgot dont do cr.lk cr.lp srk fadc try instead delaying the srk a bit for frame trap or else you waste 2 meter for nothing

^ I’d say:
- more ground game, less jumping
- use focus attack wisely, not as anti air and don’t use it too often as you become pattern, in my opinion.
- don’t blow your meter. 1st match, 3 round, pretty even situation, you got knockdown by a shakunetsu, you got up and blew 2 bars for no reason. (also when you got cornered he jumped at you 3 times…)
- anti air more.
- throw out moves with a purpose
DO NOT be afraid of that. do not jump, he’s the one that should be worried when getting up, he needs to survive the wake up game.
fuck shoryuken, if he does mash dp, learn the pattern and make him pay for that sh*t next time, bait him.
For example, walk back and forth in the cr.mk range and once he gets up do cr.jab, cr.mk xx hado. and reapply pressure on him. or OS cr.mp/throw and reapply pressure. if you are in life lead you should NOT jump in any case, why risk shoryu anti air when you are perfectly in control of the match?
also you can keep distance and you throw a safe meaty lp.hadoken and throw a hp.hadoken after. keep the pressure on and play footsies. STAY GROUNDED. keep your jump-in mix ups when you’re losing and need to do a comeback. (why? because if you kept jumping all day, once you actually need that mix he already knows the pattern, and thick throws…try to give away less info as possible to your opponent)

I’ll just say that the first 5 points were noted. Not that I think they’re arbitrary - no way but these are things that I’ll keep on a list next to me when I play SSFIV again.
Yeah I’ve come to realise that I can’t be afraid of the wakeup DP. Hes not a stupid so hes not going to do it everytime. For some reason I got it into my head that he was going to do it everytime he wakes up. But yeah, fuck 'em.
On the 7th note regarding the jump ins. I see what you mean about not creating a pattern because when I play. Another person I play within my SSFIV scene jumps but he does so in the way you talk about. Making it incredibly difficult to anti-air because I’m too focused on the ground.

hey guys i was at a my local fighting community anyways i just wanted to share this with you any good tips? here is the match!
weird… you seemed to start off strong then completely lose it. I liked your pressure strings btw… tips:
FBs : No offense, but your use of FBs here was pretty bad. You seemed to only want to throw them at near fullscreen… thats kinda pointless… hado thread has full details but basically : bait river run from mid screen, punish = C.MK Tatsu. Mix hados with C.LPs to kill his balls. Dont be afraid to throw FBs fairly close (up to about F.FP range).
SRKs : Use them. LOL. Sounds dumb but you werent willing to confirm the SRKs even though I could see you buffering them.
When hes knockdown : Gotta rpae that hairy ass mofo. Jump-in with FP when he has no metre, maybe empty jump and mix it up when he does have metre. Try to get him to burn it so he cant protect himself anymore.
Combos : Complete combos with FK tatsu VS Blanka IMO. Force him in the corner, hes hella shite there.
Dton even bother to fight him up close. C.MK is fine, but unless hes in the corner, just zone him.
Actually its kinda hard for me to say much cause I kill Blankas with fireballs. Whenever they get close I get out (which I generally do by allowing them to enter C.MP range. Thats where his jump is ambiguous. Blankas love to go for that jump. let them. just dash forward and regain space to get back to zoning.
Hmmmm… i should probs have more to say but cant think for some reason lol. Dont cave in under the pressure though. Soon as you started to lose you fell to pieces. Dunno if thats just coincidence or if its something you do… but yah, give yourself space to breather when
you feel that pressure. Dont bother to fight him. just defend yourself and regain your ground back to zoning.
oh and there were a couple places you just failed to react. There was one time, cant remeber specifics, nbut your opponnent missed something (maybe throw…?) and you just stood there. You had 2 metres. You coulda won off that 1 mistake.
Its funny I start my street fighter carreer getting destroyed by Blanka throwing to much fireballs.
Than I stop doing it completely thinking it was bad. But nowadays I actually use a lot of fireballs vs Blanka they just to have be done at the right time. I really welcome Blanka opponent , I feel very confortable vs this character. He can do lot of stuff but everything has an answer.
One thing I need advice is about his Ultra 2. I dont have much experience vs it and I dont *** know what going on when he activate it.
I learn you can FA lvl 2 after blocking Ultra 1. I was commonly doing an sps or a raw Ultra.
I am not sure if it work at every spacing, I try it in training room, it seem to work even though
It not so obvious when to hit Focus.
Ex Ball still give me trouble It really seem like a guess if I am going to get counter hit or not if I am
spamming c.lp. Maybe I should try to time it… or use c.mp

I tried to do meaty cr.lk after a knockdown and after the fight i realised the wake up is different on him lol next time ill Win or sure hahaha:P gonna try to get some more matches with the camera.

build super also…shakunetsu in not that big of a threat for blanka, you’re just wasting meter. ex srk is usefull only on wake up if they try to do ambiguos cross up ultra 1.
you got pattern with the focus atk, he adapted, you didn’t.
other than that, you got nervous like you had something up your arse, that’s the same effect that blanka does to me online, i can’t do reactionary srk’s and afraid of throwing hados, and useless focus atks.
tip: stay focused. super is your friend.
Match i had agaisnt a decent Fei player, although i’m posting this here caus i wouldnt mind some critique on my ryu play, i wanna main him seriously but i keep jumping between characters, end result is i have a slightly above average ryu and a load of other average characters :’(
