I had some theories before i turned the game on , and i was sort of right on my main idea so got it after just 5 minutes.
I wont spoil it for the others just yet tho , its always fun to experiment :tup:
Hahaha, good one my dude. You took the “bait” just like I wanted! To take it as a challenge, and not just be spoon fed! The “secret” shouldn’t be said until people struggle with it…that way when they are told the information, they value it more because they truly worked for it…

Btw , did you test this on the entire cast? I only tried on Sim , Ryu and Sagat , and it didnt work on ryu or sagat. So i just dropped it and figured it was due to sims slow fall ( or falling hitbox perhaps , he always had a very combo friendly hitbox in ST i know ).
Starting to look like SF4 has quite a few character specific combos by now. Not sure if I like\dislike that. Sure itd be all fine if EVERY combo worked on EVERY character , but this way you have to know what works and not and apply accordingly.
Example : Opponent uses character X , then I think " Allright now I can use this and this very cool combo , but I shouldnt attempt the one I usually do against character Y.
This is just extended matchup strategies really. Even when its not a combo , much of this applies , for example Ryu cant Hurricane over Seths projectiles , but he can against Sim and Sagats low and Shotos.
You shouldnt bother crossing up blanka , but you should always cross up boxer.

After watching many of Daigo’s videos (esp the one vs justin wong) I noticed as we all have that he DP’s on reaction very well. Do you guys think he does the original DP motion or the shortcut (df, d, df) for his DP’s?
