I guess it’s true what they say about dsp - that he’s a cocky, arrogant bastard eh?
I recall a very early video featuring dsp in what I believe was a gief vs blanka match that dsp lost, all the while complaining about how “input lag” and stuff like that was messing him up, all the while making several critical errors that cost him the match. This video was dissected on a SF4 blog, where the writer pointed out that had dsp not been wasting his time complaining and bitching, he would have been able to capitalize on mistakes by his opponent and definitely win.
The writer concluded that while dsp was a skilled player, his reactions on that video showed that he did not have the requisite mental toughness that many of the best players have.
Dsp is here for entertainment purpose, and for the sake of it he’s pretty fun to watch 
Yea, I think a lot of people took his vids seriously to start, but it’s all just jokes. I saw him at MWC…a lot more laid back in person.

I didn’t go up and meet the guy…can’t say if he’s nice or not. All I can say is, when he played his games, he wasn’t calling people scrubs or laughing at anyone. It’s just an act for youtube…would you watch it if he weren’t making fun of his opponents?
DSP is a dick he just fronts in IRL.
DSP videos are great, he complains too much about things not coming out due to lag when I bet most of the time it is just his execution
either way he is a good player and I enjoy his videos, good comedy

In that Iyo match, he does this move a few times that looks like he is dodging Ryu’s jump-in. It looks like he’s bowing, almost. He first does it at 0:47.
Does anyone know exactly what that is? It’s definitely not his Yoga Tower dodge.

need some advice how to improve my game, i know i missed alot of chances and i should have done certain things at certain time
DSP admits in his reveal video that it’s all an act, and I believe him. I really can’t see him being as mouthy as that in real life at all. He’s a bitchy dude who’s basically playing the video version of “internet tough guy”
He’s also one of the only people out there who actually commentates as he plays, regardless of the content, and sticks it all on youtube. Some of his video reviews are decent, and I found his dan madness hilarious, and that laugh too. That’s just me though.

You cant be that mouthy in real life. Imagine playing someone at an arcade and proclaiming loudly: ‘OH GREAT ANOTHER FUCKING SHOTO SCRUB’ as they pick their character. *Nobody *would do that in real life. It just means he’s sane, not that he’s a nice guy.
Also the Daigo vs Shiro match was fucking great.
