I don’t know why I waited so long to watch GTO but I finally did and needless to say it was fantastic. I’m glad that it wasn’t him just teaching generic high school delinquents like the first episode made it out to be.

i already saw 1.01 i think. its 1. something. just asked my lil bro, its 1.011 or something along those lines. the music is just briliant in this, unlike most shitty animes nowadays. and in other words is just a classic most animes cant even come close to, its THAT good. but yeah, i gotta watch that 11 too for those extra scenes.

Man though, talk about a brutal scene though. Not only were they murdered, but their faces were brutally disfigured with likely blunt objects (there was a bloody shovel on the ground).

so the hayate on onemanga finally bridged the gap to the hayate on mangafox, so I can start marathon’ing now.
the first few chapters are pretty serious business, I hope the anime gets this far.
also, I hope hayate actually hooks up with someone by the end (not nagi - hopefully hina, but a maria is fine too)

Seriously, they sure offed a lot of characters in one fell swoop! You’d think whoever did the murders would pick one, but instead went for 6 and with that kind of horrible mutilation means that they mean business.
I’d wtf and lol if possessed Maria (which seems obvious; as she was completely different when she read the letter Beatrice gave to her, not to mention having that Higurashi season 1 contorted face that we all know and love) did all that and continues to do so.
I’d feel sorry for poor Jessica (lost her father), Battler (ditto) and George (lost his future fiance; where the proposition totally came out of nowhere) the most. Hear that the scene was actually toned down for TV compared to the VN and the manga.

Whoa, I almost did a double take when I saw that random panty flash at the start of the episode. Thought it was Karere from Zetsubou who did a cameo. :lol:
Regardless, the editing and choreography is definitely Shinbo/Shaft all the way. The story seems really bizarre; with the OP hinting on ever more bizarre events that’s going to happen later on.
Hitagi seems to quite the enigmatic character. She also doesn’t seem to be hesitant in stapling people’s mouths. 
An interesting beginnnig, that’s for sure. Will keep an eye on this one. Equally interesting nerd fact is that not only Zetsubou and Bakemonogatari share the same studio and director, but both main characters share the same VA as well.

Ah, just like the good old days when it comes to this series. Which means more of Horo and Lawrence bantering with each other, and they move into a new town and meet up with a couple of new characters, such as pretty boy blondie Amarite.
Seems like they’ll be moving to Niohira next, as it’s perhaps the closest hint to reaching Horo’s origin location of Yoitsu. Also from the preview pic, a new woman comes into play as well? Should be interesting.
