Yep, I’m surprised that they still haven’t retired that nigga after 600 some episodes, and numerous games where they have changed nameless protagonists. Is fucking Pikachu really that popular still?

Looked back a page and didn’t see it mentioned, sorry if someone else mentioned it already… The Eureka7 movie is subbed and out on TT

thanks.

Holy shit I’m dying!

Phantom is the hotness. Nice timeskip.

Phantom 12 on

Spoiler

I still want to know what Zwei’s deal is with giving a damn about Judy.

What the fuck have you shown me Stabby?!

LMAO, THE GENRE IS HORROR.

WTF, mutated chicken man? His name doesn’t help in making me not take this seriously (should it be taken seriously?)

On volume 3 of The World God Only Knows. Liking the Elese/Keima dynamic and the plot.

Japanese ‘horror’ should never be taken seriously, unless it is by Junji Ito.

Sweet. Thanks for posting about it. I can’t wait to check it out.

It’s funny you say that cause the author of 14 is considered THE horror manga author, Umezu Kazuo lol

Just because you were the first, doesn’t make you the best.

Anybody else watch Eureka 7 Movie?

For those unknowing it’s a stand alone movie that takes place within the universe of Eureka 7 but completely changes the story and characters. Not all of the main cast are even in the movie.

The story was interesting but I don’t quite like the change of character dynamics but I give the movie credit for doing something ballsy and going a completely different route with the characters.

Ippo 26:

Totally shafted the aftermath of Takamura’s match and I’m really disappointed with that since it’s the closure that was necessary for that match. Instead we get Ippo moving on and setting up for the next season since there is so much manga to cover.

Umi Monogatari ~Anata ga itekureta koto~ 02:

Umm…This show completley took a different path that what I was expecting it. Based on the trailers I swore this would be a slice of life/fantasy-esque show along the lines of the original Little Mermaid but instead I get magical girls that are fighting some evil with some moderate differences. This episode had a lot of flash to it and it looked absolutely amazing. One of the higher production shows of the new season.

I’m going to have Chicken Man Nightmares for the rest of my life.

The op for When Seagulls Cry is awesome.

This guy is a great comedy writer.

So can anyone reccomend me a solid manga to read?

Ive read like
Naruto
Bleach
Ippo
Flame Inferno
Gantz
Kekkaishi
Love Hina
GTO
PRince of Tennis
Veritas
Death Note
Bitter Virgin
Ouran High School Host Club
Peach Girl
Suzuka
School Rumble
Elfin Lied

And a lot of other stuff, but I kinda wanna get away from the typical Shoujo stuff. but still have good action… hopefully with a deep story

Try History’s Strongest Disciple Kenichi, Yakitate Japan, or look at the first post in the thread.

If you want stuff that is less traditional, try out Uzumaki or Gyo.

Fap note

[details=Spoiler]Seriously. What the fuck? There has to be more to this than meets the eye. Maybe Kitahara had something to do with hooking Brocolli and Takagawa up? It seems too big of a coincidence that a lonely otaku that’s scared of real girls could get a hot piece of ass like Takagawa as his girlfriend just by himself.

I don’t think Kurosawa will do anything, or I at least hope he doesn’t. Takagawa is his main love interest (hell she’s on the cover of the manga), so I don’t think he’s going to ruin everything he’s built up with her out of jealousy. I have my suspicions that Kitahara wanted Kurosawa to soil Takagawa (jesus fuck too many last names that sound similar at the end) because she might have a crush on Kurosawa. She might be jealous of their relationship, which would also support my theory of her helping Brocolli and Takagawa get together. She didn’t want to reveal to Kurosawa why she wanted Takagawa to be punished, even though Takagawa doesn’t seem to have any kind of bad nature to her at all.

Just my thoughts…[/details]

Fullmetal Alchemist.

you bet your ass he is

the common argument is how the story resets pikachus lv every new region, because if they didn’t he’d be unstoppable.

Just finished the festival arc of Negima.
