Wow, that opening animation was really cool. I liked “Shut up and Explode” better but the song wasn’t too bad. It’s just unfortunate that the opening makes the show look way better than it really is. Nice display of the Xamdou’s just too bad they don’t do much to begin with.

I really like the scene with Nakiami trying to pull Akiyuki from the defeated humanform and then Raigyo comes in with his human form and frees the two. They land with Raigo holding an unconscious Nakiami with Akiyuki staring off into the distance. Man, I miss Raigyo’s humanform.
I like my criteria for favorite character in an anime. The character with the biggest sword or the most amount of swords will become my favorite. 
I believe this puts Rakan as my favorite character as he fulfills both my big sword and many swords fetish.
You know what’s still a good ED song to this day? Watashi Rashiku.

I didn’t notice it until now; damn Bio 102 midterm took up most of my focusing for today, as did finishing off the latest chapter of KWMS (call it a guilty pleasure; there’s something I find about it that’s enjoyable).
Although, it is kinda awkward to see Flans Exarmatio make another appearance. I mean, I feel like it’s been about 100-or-so chapters since he last used that spell.
In the mean time, I’ll get back to replaying Origa’s Player over and over again… without the wtf rapping… that, and Paradise Lost with all of these Yomi avs.
The ending completely ruined the series for me. Movie more so.
how close does the hayate anime follow the manga? i’m getting along well in the manga, but never seen the anime.

yeah, I didn’t have a problem with it. its been a long time since he did the nude-ga spell, and it was a quick way to diffuse the situation.
some stuff is out of order and they omit some characters in certain scenarios, there’s a whole bunch of original stuff, they add a lot more parody/anime-in joke reference stuff, yet the anime just “feels” like the manga - despite the first season being largely filler. second season has stuck pretty close to the manga so far with slight omissions, but nothing to cry about.

It is in my opinion that Yotsuba is the greatest manga ever created.
The soldier bit in the exam almost left me in stiches. Seeing as to how Yamazaki thought of a story that’s almost ripped off from a generic Hollywood war movie and the outcome was just too good.
I lol’d hard at that bit. Like I said earlier, Sawako stole the show in ep. 7

I dunno much about that, but I heard that Season 2 follows the manga a lot more than Season 1 (which had it’s fair share of non-manga stuff, most of it funny).
