Don’t drop Uta at all it starts off slow but gets really interesting 5-6 episodes in maybe less if I remember right. Probably one of my favorite fantasy anime series of all time.
Kind of wish K-On did less scenery shots during performances and practice sessions. It’s just a cheap tactic to save budget and while it’s a necessary evil it feels like a cop out to me.
Yeah I’ve got the 1st 5 downloading atm, don’t usualy drop a series for starting slow since you can miss out on so many gems that way.

Utawarerumono was great. Had lots of suspense, good characters and a rather satisfying conclusion. Hakuoro’s a pimp + Touka and Karura are very fine.

Those OVA shorts that came with the DVDs. Loved how they treated Hakuoro TOTALLY out of character.

Is Sky Crawlers worth checking out? I saw that Thora subbed it, so I decided to check it out. Yet, it doesn’t sound like it’s that good outside of eye candy.

I wonder if we’ll get Haruhi concert level of animation from KyoAni. It feels like they’ve stopped caring about K-On and are focusing solely on Haruhi.

As expected, it was an intro episode for Asuza…who for most of the episode is Mio’s replacement in costume abuse and general tsundere attitude. Even Mio thought she was left out in this one. We still don’t get any music sequences yet or even training that much, but it’s just a start of the relationship between the newcomer and the light music club.
Next week is another training camp! Let’s hope it’s funnier than the last time around.
I haven’t even seen this show but that laugh has me rolling.
They’ve only shown one episode of Haruhi S2 and we wont be getting another for at least 3 weeks…how are they focusing on Haruhi?
