Same here, I have the first up to the latest but haven’t watched any yet aside from a few quick shots from the first. I may just put it off till it’s done so I can do a quick watch through from the first to last.

Includes both older and recent series + some info via it’s Wiki page, so you’re bound to find something you haven’t seen yet and which you will most likely enjoy.

I think I’m liking Higurashi Rei more than the other two seasons because the world is so radically different from the others. Leaves a lot more mystery as to what might happen and stuff. Unfortunately the OVA is only 5 episodes so it’ll only go so long :\

I’ve seen most stuff, and I used to hang in the thread, but I was having problems with reading the posts of a certain member, so I left for a while. I’m mostly a manga reader, and the well-known series I’ve already read, as well as lesser-known ones, but I don’t keep up with anime (because most of it is the same old shit) so I ask for recommendations and shoot down whatever anyone suggests.
Kurenai seems decent. Is it still airing?
Oh, and no comments on Queens Blade?
Yeah, but I didn’t talk to you much at the time. I actually used to talk to Stabby alot and I STILL didn’t understand his taste at the time.
Kurenai’s older, so it’s finished at 12-13 eps(I forget the exact count). It’s great though.
Hehehe you don’t want to watch Queens Blade. It’s terrible. It’s just short of being a Hentai series. It’s really bad. Good for a laugh but still really bad.
The censored version of Queens blade is the way to go, you get all the exciting medieval adventuring and gripping storylines without the sick, soul stealing nudity shit.
Best of both worlds.

Man, I love how there are streaming videos for anime now. I never cared about quality, so this is perfect for me.
Oh, and I recommend Astro Fighter Sunred. That anime got two songs stuck in my head. Ridiculously short episodes, but pretty funny.
I checked out one episode of Queen’s Blade, but it didn’t seem that interesting. It might have gotten better, but I thought it was weird that no one mentioned it at all.
I looked at East of Eden when my roommates were watching it, but it didn’t grab me. I don’t want something that takes itself too seriously.
I was thinking about how quickly the anime distribution routes changed for me. Back in the day it was file sharing networks, then torrents, then for a bit it was direct downloads, and now I’m watching them streaming. Shit changes so fast, you can talk to kids nowadays that don’t even know what dial-up is.

Dude I feel you on this. I was just reading the MP3 thread and theirs so fucking many of them and they all work so differently. I remember when i was thrilled cause i got a fucking Walkman for my birthday. My little brother doesn’t even know what a walkman is. Then Discman, now MP3. Shit changes so fast I’ve seen and experienced 3 generational mediums for portable music. WTF is next?

There was more talk about Queen’s Blade in the old anime thread. People watched the first episode, laughed at how bad it was, then moved on.
…If there are people on this planet that hate Kure-nai, they make me sad. But not for long, as I shoot them for not liking Kure-nai.
