It’s just so sad that so many manga out there with decent stories could be made into shows and have success, and so many other shows the were also good that could stand to have new seasons. Instead we get shit like Basquash and Saki, with a bunch of other clone shows starring high school girls or super natural beings possing as high school girls. I don’t really knock it, but the shit has gone stale. Its okay to design a show for young people starring young people, but damn, when those people are prepubecent children showing off their skin then something is terribly wrong man. What I am saying is there is alot of crap and then their is pure shit that should be flushed out of your system as soon as possible.

Last ninja show (outside of Naruto of course) that I saw was Nabari no Ou; but that turned out boring real quick after a few episodes with the whole Yoite/Miharu rivalry melodrama.

Just throwing in my two cents–
Whoever it was that was complaining that the majority of anime/manga out there is terrible isn’t necessarily wrong. The medium is oversaturated. On top of that, audiences seem to react well to cliched, poorly-written fare so long as it has action, bubz, or moe stereotypes.
So when producers see that moe is popular, they decide to churn out whatever moe crap they can come up with. Like K-ON. The whole series is just hour after hour of mindless exploitation of moe stereotypes. But hey, people like it, so who cares if it’s not good?
And that’s the danger of the genre. Or any genre, really. Because the majority of people like stupid stuff, they’ll get stupid stuff. So people who want a decent experience have to wade through a sea of crap before they come up with gems like Akira (the manga). Or Blade of the Immortal (also the manga). Or Code Geass (S1, I’m ignoring the existence of S2).
And this happens with comics too. 99% of it is pure crap. Sometimes you hit gold, like Sandman. Or anything by Brian K. Vaughan. Or Brubaker. And with books and movies too. It’s just that searching for a decent anime/manga is infinitely more difficult for people like us (i.e. non-idiots) because 1) there’s less mainstream focus on anime/manga for Americans considering its foreign status, and 2) the majority of fans happen to be underage simpletons that are extremely loud and vocal in what they consider to be “good.” Usually, they’re wrong.
^Seriously, as a comic fan, I can’t TELL you how many crappy superhero books are out there trying to appease to fans with continuity fanwanks and repetitive bullshit. For every Brubaker, theres a Jeph Loeb and Greg Land using their no talent hackjobs and selling 100.000 copies a month. Its easy to look at a cover though, and see “Oh, Grant Morrison wrote this? Hell yeah!” or “JH Williams III? This could be rather good, I’d hope.” With anime, I think its a bit more random. I mean, sure you could be like “Hey, this is made by Gainax, this could be really good!” by then you got companies like Sunrise, who sometimes release Cowboy Bebop, and sometimes they release…well a whole bunch of crap, to be honest.

im not really sure why, like immediatey after the first round of deaths, they didnt just keep everyone in the same room and guard them until morning comes. if the killer is one of them, well its pretty hard to kill someone with everyone else watching. if the killer is someone outside, you cant have a better fighting chance than with everyone there. if its some metaphysical phenomenon or natsuhi (woman with shotgun) then youre fuct anyways but still you have the highest chance of fighting back with everyone there.
like when they found the note on the table, the worst possible thing to do was to kick people out. ok fine you “know” theres a killer in the room, but if she (probably a she) tries anything im sure the rest of the people will have something to say about it. i mean as far as they know the killer is human, and the problem is that she keeps moving around so they cant catch her; if all the targets are in the same spot then at least you know where she will be next so you can shotgun her in the face.
it would be a nice mindfuck if there was no beatrice, but given the way the show works i doubt that will happen. maria could have done all the kills except for the boiler room though, and if your imagination is good enough you can imagine her setting up some elaborate mechanical trap down there.
since i like to randomly speculate: beatrice is real and human with no MUTANT POWERS, and maria is helping her.
