The thing is, if I wanted an iPhone I’d buy one. I liked Galaxy S series because they allow me to have expandable memory and shit. They lok nice, sure, but I need functionality. But we’ll see if this will be a big seller. That S5 flop was fierce.
I don’t know how people walk around with a Note. It’s not like you can slide it in your pocket. My skinny jeans are thinner than those things.

Anything over 350 for a phone is retarded imo. And no new phone is worth buying for a 200 mgh increase. My nexus 5 will be good for years to come.
After seeing the S6 I’m pretty sure they’ll do the same thing with the note. I’m out of the loop when it comes to phones what’s a good note alternative that has removable memory? When it comes time to upgrade my note 3 I’ll hop on that.

I was thinking about getting a unlocked LG Volt cuz I’m tired of my LG motion always needing to get daily battery charges due to its 1800mah battery. the Volt has a removable 3000mah battery which is incredible imo.
but then I realized that the Volt for boost mobile is a CDMA phone.
which is perfect since the LG Motion is also CDMA.
but then I realized my carrier sometime this summer will stop using CDMA altogether and switch to GSM completely.
so…I don’t think its possible to use an unlocked Volt after the summer.
so…now idk what to get.
I just want a good brand(non-Chinese) cheap phone with 2500mah to 3000mah battery. that’s it. something below $100 bucks.

I really really really hate that cellphones have these carrier attachments built into them. I really wish they’d make all these damn phones separate from different carriers. like pcs and tablets. cuz dealing with unlocking phones can be just as complicated as rooting…if not more complicated cuz if you fuck up inputting the correct numbers you’ll lock the phone and have to pay even more money to unlock em.

I have a note 3 that is running stock on 4.4.4. I was wondering if I could change my wallpaper or lock screen to picture that is full/normal size. Every time I want to change it, it will either zoom in on the pic or put a blue box on the pic that I can move around and whatever fits in the box will be the new wallpaper or lock screen. Is there a way to change it in a setting or an app I can get to just change my backgrounds to the exact pic I want? If you need examples of what’s going on I can try to take screen shots and put them up. Thanks.
What you’re asking for does not exist in the current market. Go look at the One Plus ($300 starting price), BLU phones, Lumia, and lower end Samsung phones.

oddly enough, i do very few things on my phone…no ringtone makers or nonsense like that. I have games (got a mame emulator, snes emulator, zen pinball with a ton of tables, Marvel: War of Heroes, Shadowrun, Baldurs Gate II), Line (chat program), BeyondPod (so i can listen to the Anthony Cumia Show podcast and some others and not rape my data plan), Popcorn Time (duh if u don’t have this app ur a fucking fool), reebee (shows me flyers grocery stores near me), Superbeam (wirelessly transfer files), Zedge obviously, Cerberus (theft prevention app), apps that take advantage of rooting your phone (AdAway, Superuser, f-driod, etc)
A lot of shit I seldom use. Mostly I just use the browser, or watch vids or listen to music. My phone case unfolds into a stand, so i don’t even have to hold it while i watch them moving pictures.
So I don’t know how phone upgrades work, but considering mine is constantly malfunctioning, I’m investing into a new one. I still have my S3 so is the S5 worth buying at the moment? My carrier’s Virgin Mobile which has the S5 at $499, but I’m looking into cheaper places (really don’t want to kick out that much for a phone).

I’m loving my S5 and definitely recommend getting one if you can. Depending on what Virgin Mobile’s policy is and where you are in your contract, you should be able to find a good deal for an upgrade. Especially since the S6 is out now. Get online and look at your account or go by a store and see what they can do for you. But yeah, S5 is great!
