My biggest gripe with my previous lg phone was the keyboard. It would suddenly stop accepting inputs. Later on the phone would just simply stop making calls.
Granted, this was am Optimus 3d so a lot could have changed. I did hear of similar gripes on the g2, so I’ve been apprehensive about lg. However, my dad has the Optimus g and has no such issues, so maybe it’s just random phones or perhaps it’s something with the Asian variants.
If after a month you have no issues, let me know. I almost bought the g2 but the keyboard issues were so annoying that I couldn’t trust it.
I believe Virgin handles things through SIMs, right?
Pop out your SIM, get it cut down to micro-SIM (they have hole punches that do this on amazon for cheap), pop it into your new phone. You MAY have to dial Virgin customer service, but beyond that, shouldn’t be too hard.
Actually, looks like they stopped that…at least for their month-to-month phones. At any rate, no SIM in my case. Will that make switching devices easier?
Actually, it didn’t matter one iota what keyboard app I used. If I used the LG Default, if I used SwiftKey/Google/Go Keyboard, it all resulted in the same crap of no keyboard input happening.
So yeah, if you’re not experiencing keyboard issues at all, then I guess LG finally got that resolved.
Really, if you’re going to be travelling outside the USA at all, the OnePlus One is the better phone. Otherwise, just grab a G3, because the SD card slot and the removable battery is a better setup.
well…gonna order it and if I dont like it I will just sell it for a profit lol
I was hoping to get the invite for the 16gb model since I really dont need the storage. randomly got one for the black version. $50 more for just storage and black back.
Maybe someone can help me out. For some reason, my PC refuses to read the files on my phone. I’m not sure what changed because I was able to do this before with no problems. Sometimes, when I’m able to view files and I try to transfer files from my PC to the phone, it gives up and tells me the device stopped responding. How do I fix this?
My phone is a Samsung Galaxy Ace IIe, and I’m using Windows 7. If it helps, I usually have USB debugging enabled, but I still have the same problem when I turn that off.
EDIT: I discovered a driver issue, gonna see if that solves the problem.
I used Kies to update the firmware and install drivers, but not to sync anything. I don’t know if the problem started after updating the firmware (I did the update a long time ago). Should I be using Kies to sync files?
